I'd ban LOLcats. I just can't stand them. Thinking back on it, there's a lot of memes that I'd want to ban.

This thread is a pile of shit.

There's very little I would actively ban in an ideal world that isnt already outlawed, prejudice being the top of the list.

Everyone who's saying they'd ban say, rap or autotune or cigarettes are far worse than rappers, drinkers or smokers. Rap isnt harming anyone, sure cigarettes are unhealthy but if you dont enjoy them, dont smoke the damn things, autotune, why the fuck would you ban that, ever listen to daft punk? They use autotune incredibly well in their songs.

I'm not saying you dont have the right to want to live in a world without certain stuff. Hell I'd like to live in a world without shop assistants, without scene queens, without snobs. But I'm not gonna ban them, because they don't deserve to have their human rights taken away from them.

Also those who say 4chan have only ever been on /b/.

I would ban Westboro, because they deserve it.
Can we ban their right to live? Or their right Not to be on fire? Or their right Not to have their intestines wound around a giant cog, taking hours for their death screams to fade into the distance?

Sorry had an issue with them at a friends funeral.
Really? Then yes, those things are completely justified. Except the kids; have them relocated on grounds of neglect and abuse.

If you really think cigarettes only harm smokers stick with that fallacy and let people knock it down before you start on the human rights track. I'd almost respect a smoker who says, "That's right, I'm killing myself, my family, my pets, and innocent bystanders, and furthermore I demand that you pay exorbitant taxes, insurance premiums, and healthcare prices to make that death as slow as possible."

Heh, you're naive, second hand smoke is doing about as much damage to you as the UV radiation you absorve into your body every second of every day.

Cite some sources that haven't been refuted. Even Penn & Teller retracted their claims on that front.

I'd ban admission restrictions for all university students trying to get into the Master of Education studies. A little specific, I know, but this is going to give me a fucking ulcer one of these days. I'm studying to be a teacher, and the harder of the two subjects I study has a grade average attached to its Master studies prerequisites.
Problem 1: If you fail to stay below the set average you'll be barred from entering the Master studies. You don't get put on a waiting list, you get the "Thanks for playing" card.
Problem 2: As a teacher, nobody hires you if you don't have a Master's degree in all of your study branches.
Seriously, this shit has started giving me nightmares. If I don't make that damn average grade I've flushed 3 years of my life down the toilet, which I can't afford.

Hmm, one thing I'd want to ban is alcohol. But some alcohol is used for cleaning wounds and such...
Then I'd ban all alcohol that isn't medical.
Didn't America try that once?

I would ban R18+ movies, books and plays to show people why Australia needs a R18+ rating for video games

(movies include porn)

You'd ban...failure? Like everybody just gets to do whatever he or she wants to do with no standards applied to it?
