I had to look up what Brink was before I could respond. I wouldn't care, it doesn't look very interesting just another shooter.

Seeing as it took me a moment to remember what Brink was, probably a whole lot of nothing.

I want this game so bad I cry every night I do not posses it.
If it ends up being a bad game I will, without hesitation knee-cap everyone of the developers of the game, and force them to remake it.

It's still slightly on my radar, but I really don't expect to buy it.

Sniffing around it sounds like a Team MP game (ala Team Fortress 2) with a single player story attached. Sounds like there's no real good or bad guys in the set-up, so unless the writing is absolutely amazing, I don't expect the story to be particularly compelling. Stories where everyone are shades of gray don't have the standard genre cliches to fall back on and really have to say something to be good.

And I'm totally unimpressed by the Container City gameplay videos I've seen so far. The SMART system looks to be quite good, potentially better than the Free Run systems in games like Assassin's Creed... but I don't really see much in that gameplay video that suggests that it'll be terribly important to Brink's gameplay.

As for the look of the piece. The setting really has the potential to be something amazing looking, but none of the locations revealed so far really look all that different from everything else out there. Container City strikes me as particularly generic and uninteresting. While the airport level captures the look and feel of a real airport a bit too well, which is like saying an actor really captures the essence of an accountant.

I could care mildly less than I do now. It's not a game that's piqued my interest, so I shall continue to observe it as I have the other games that do not arise a feeling of mild, but excited, anxiety in me--briefly, as I look over them to get see the game I am looking for.

Basically looks like a TF2 clone with some more interesting environments and the ability to wear different shirts to battle. I don't see anything new being brought to the table from the previews, so I don't really care

I would be disappointed, its one of the games im looking forward to the most. Off the top of my head, I believe the only game I want more then Brink is SWTOR.

I'd get on with my life?

I didn't realize this game was being really hyped. There are plenty of awesome games coming out this year, my big ones are Mortal Kombat, From Dust, Duke Nukem, Arkham City.

To all those who say Brink is over-hyped, I'd say the 45 minute per person play sessions they had at PAX count as a bit more than hype. All the features they've claimed to include worked just fine as far as I could tell. I generally avoid getting bought into game hype unless the dev publishes some actual content to back it up. I made the mistake of getting excited about Damnation when it came out, and have never listened to hype since. From what I've seen, however, I'd say Brink can deliver.

That being said, if it ends up sucking, I will probably cry.

It has a mountain to overcome for me with the fact that I hate the first-person perspective in games. That coupled with the fact that I will play it alone (I have 2 friends on Live and I don't even know why they added me or I added them). Once I heard of those two things about the game, I haven't kept up with it. I have no expectations for it.

So if it sucks then I'll just continue about my business.

If it sucks, it sucks. It looks fun, but I never try too get too excited.(Skyrim unfortunatley is just too exciting!) If it isn't that good, I will just move on I guess.

I would go on with my life. I do not play multiplayer focused FPS's, nor do I really know anything about the game, so in all honesty, I do not really care. Simple as that.

I feel like the market is just being flooded with some good but mostly crap FPS. I wont name which ones I think belong in which catergory for fears I will set some fanboy off but yeah, I'm not expecting much at this point.
