What's the dumbest reason you've ever been banned for?

I got banned from a forum once for constantly disagreeing with the admin and his brother.

Thinking about it later, I was pretty much wrong nearly every time, but then again, I was thirteen and angry. Though the next day I emailed the admin talking about it, and ironically helped him out with fixing an issue that let you put HTML in thread titles (which I had done, screwing up the forum temporarily and irritating the other users), and making sure it couldn't happen again. Didn't undo my ban, but then again I never asked for that, so, meh.

I've been kicked from servers for killing/beating whoever the host is.
Got banned from various Battlefield 2 servers ages ago for breaking server rules, one time I hit an enemy plane with a tank shell, and got accused of aim-botting.

i used to play wow on a private server...and i got in a fight with a GM and called him a fag so he banned me fer like 5 years >_>

gmod. i killed someone with my pistol 3 time because i was annoyed with them. normally i would get them banning me but i killed him because they made a tank out of flashing errors. i got killed for 20 seconds before the guy got bored with the tank. the would be most idiotic reason i would have been banned if the server had assholes on it would be when i came on some guy told evryone to ban me because as he said "i love black dicks". not only was it a insult to me but it was also racist.

I used to play some FPS online games that had a strict no swearing policy. I kept pointing out the hypocrisy of that when the games were violent ones where you had to kill people and pointed out the stupidity of having to act like soldiers while not being able to talk like them. I don't see how saying "shit" is any more offensive than putting a bullet through someone's skull and watching their head fall off while blood spurts out of their neck stump. The admins didn't like this logic, probably because they're hypocrites.

Most of my bannings happen because everyone breaks the rules except me and admins get sick of actually having to do their jobs and enforce the rules of the server and wish I would just shut up and go away, so they kick me off rather than do their jobs.

I've been banned from only once place before, and that wasn't in a video game.

The Haunted Woods, in New England... Someone came up behind me and grabbed me by the shoulder in attempt to spook after we had left one of the haunted houses and were heading to another. Ten years of Enshudo kicked in and I hip-tossed the man into a bush. I was 'kindly asked to leave' afterword.

i wouldn't have asked you to leave, id ask you to do it again so we can get it on camera and get some money on you've been framed!

ive not really been banned on anything, been kicked from a few games for friendly fire, but it was their fault...

I was warned on here for making a thread that didn't promote discussion.

I was also kicked from a TF2 game because I was owning everyone as a battle-medic. Anyone who has played as a medic knows how hard it is to get a kill, let alone top the scoreboard.

I was warned once (here). Apparently, I said something I wasn't trying to say. Mods warned me and I asked why. They said it was "xenophobic".

I didn't even knew it sounded "xenophobic". I left a PM. Changed the post. They removed the probation. Phew

Oh, I was kicked out of a Counterstrike game for "being too good".

I got banned from a livejournal community many moons ago. That's all I can think of, I'm usually pretty good about following rules.

Mine would have to be in Garry's Mod. I was on a public server making small rockets, away from the other players. It didn't go near any players or their objects. It didn't cause any lag in the server.

They banned me because it left burn marks on the ground. The map was gm_flatgrass. A gigantic map where's there's plenty of space for every player. Even if it was a small map, it's grass, what's the big deal?

Garrys Mod has multi-player?

I was banned off of a gmod server, when I loaded a really complex shielded rocket turret, with auto correcting rockets. also the turret spawns more rockets indefinetly. It was a zombie server BTW

Anyways the reason I was banned because "Your device is really cool and I want it but I can't have it untill your gone ha ha pwned *****. ,,1,,(^_^),,1,,"

Gotta love those 9 year old admins.

I typed a single word in a thread once and was banned for 24 hours. I don't remember the word, but I was accused of linking or something along those lines. I'm convinced it was a ban-bot (for lack of a better term), so I guess it was some forbidden word. Frankly, don't even remember the thread, or even the word, and it's the only time anything like that has ever happened.

Apparently, I said the wrong thing at the wrong time (on a Megaman Forum, a really tiny one) that caused things to spiral out of control so bad the admins eventually just shut the site down. I don't really remember all of what I said, but I think it had something to do with Vile. I think.

They banned me out of spite though, two days before they shut the site down.
