a snake, some grasshoppers, ticks, chiggers, fire ants, skinks (a type of lizard that's really prevalent around here)

I've been bitten by a lot, none of it cumulated in anything interesting, thank goodness.

An iguana. Which was weird because this one in particular is very mellow, not aggressive at all. This was just a few weeks ago, I can still see the mark on my finger (not sure if it will be a permanent mark or not) and I'm just glad it wasn't a male iguana.

A weird poisonous spider. Bit me underneath the right eye(on my upper cheek). My face swelled slightly and it numbed my entire body and sent me into a whirlwind of hallucinetic visions/sounds. Freaky as hell. They still don't know what it was because it happened in the middle of my class back when i was in grade 9. Yeah the bastard bit me in-front of everyone

The wife and cat do more than their fair share of biting

OH YEAH. Never have adult fun outside when rabbits are around...one decided my foot made good munchions and decicded to interupt the procedings. Funny but painfully annoying at the same time.

a brown recluse spider
I'm terrified of those things. I have them in my apartment during certain times of the year. Did the bite area necrotize (die)?

I've been bitten by a king snake and an iguana... I had big leather gloves on though, so it didn't really hurt.
yea it bit me on the side and it did necrotize

the wound finally healed but my skin is still discolored where it was.

Im just thankful the spider venom didn't make it in my body or i might have died.

A monkey in South Africa.

Crept up behind me and bit a chunk out my ankle, narrowly missing my achilles tendon!

My foot was covered in bloody, I could barely walk for days, you could see the bone!

And to make it worse I had to have 3 stitches without anesthetic!

This was a year and a half ago and I still have a scar!

Some more exotic beatles, probably. I keep a snakes, scorpions, tarantulas and other arachnids, but I'm always careful with them, so I've never been bitten. Except some native spiders I have handled, but it doesn't really hurt, which is why I handled them in the first place.

I also keep and handle leeches, but never been bitten by them either.
