You don't need to be strong to hurt someone - style over strength will work almost every time.
A little strength never hurt anyone. Gotta admit having both is nicer then just one.

Well with my hobbies I cuase and recieve alot of injuries, (Muay Thai, Brazilian Jui Jitsu, Boxing, Wrestling, Judo, MMA, Kyukushin Karate...ect.) So its hard to really think of the worst. No including the gym I guess my worst have been fighting drunks lol.

There was this on time on New Years Eve/Day, My brother and his friends had just been in a fight with this kid who'd said something bad about a family friends dying sister, the kid had made a run for it, so anyway I got a phone call quickly explaining what had happend and to try and head him off (He was going in the general direction of my house). Anyways the kid must have double backed becuase I couldnt find the basterd, so I met up with my brother and his mates and went to the person who had been insulted sister inlaws house, we were there trying to calm down the guy who'd been insulted while figuring out were he went, we had plenty of phone calls from him tuanting but he refused to meet us anywere, the guy who'd been insulted offered to meet him alone and have it a fair fight, but well he just taunted him and refused, while ironically calling him a chicken shit coward.

Anyways about half an hour later while still at that house a friend of ours turned up at the door cry with scared half to death shaking, apparently he'd been chased up here by a gang just 4 roads down from the house, now that wasnt the smart thing for those attackers to do becuase in the house I was in there was close to 30 people, with one guy who was raging out already and the other 20 odd who were already pumped of adrenaline ready for a scrap, that was a dream come true for us at the time.

So we went down for them jogging down, I sprinted in front with the guy who'd been chased, I passed a alley and they were there just down that street, they were there about 13 of them, the other 20 odd hadnt cuaght up yet, but I was just full of adrenaline so after getting confiramtion from the freind that was chased that they were them, I sprinted straight for them, went as fast s I'd gone before, and I just ran and jumped into the crowd preforming a flying knee straight into the crowd, one bloke moved out of the way, so I hit a unexpecting gang member behing him, he dropped hard, just straight out cold, it broke the crowd up who just started to stamp the hell out of me(thats why we you should never, ever, ever preform that jump striaght in a crowd with a move like that unless you know you have a gang behind you), any way that was a good thing sorta becuase they were distracted stamping me in to not notice the 20 odd people behind them, the gang of 12 (Plus one out called) just got swamped.

Took me a good few seconds to work my away of the floor lol, and I wasnt all there, but when my head was straight I saw the crowd had moved away from me and was just alittle up the road, and a few more members of that gang were on the floor next to me getting up wounded, apparently they'd tried to do a run for it before we cuaght up to them.

So, I get up and another lad try's getting up next me (One of the 13) so I just get on top of him and start giving him a few hit to put him back down, then I run up to the rest of the crowd and jump in, just kneeing and elbowing my way through lol, even hit a few of my own on accident. We won eventaully and Unsuprisingly not one of our lads got too injured (Unsuprising given that there was about 30 of us and 13 of them).

It was a funny night, that New Years will probably never be forgoten lol, we went back to the house and liked our wounds and had a luaght and a joke about it lol.

Oh, this'll be good...

Physical: bust a guy's nose with easily the best punch i've ever thrown... in the middle of a chemistry class. so, fail.

Emotional: also in school, this guy had been harassing me, calling me fish for years (don't ask). He walked funny, because his ankle had been broken in the womb. so one day i snapped, after one too many "fishes, nemos and angels" and screamed at him, ahem,

"shut it, you frog legged freak!"

and that guy was out of there! ran away without a sound, i shouted after him, "Now we're even!". It felt goo-o-od...

And I just read the ops edit and noticed that I can involve both mental and emotional injuries.

Eh, I'll give one that uses both, the short version however.

A friend stole a gun of mine and fake robbed and fake threatened my life. I not being the type of person to let that go decided to get revenge, but a revenge that will be more painful in the longrun than any physical blow. I made him lose his home, money (dumbass had nothing in the bank. He kept all his money in his place) job, credibility, and loved ones. He now lives in a box and is mentally unstable and very depressed. He has also started to do drugs which is only making him lose more credibility and making him have less and less money.

I will probably never do that again because it can backfire and I will end up in some serious shit. The joy I feel just doesn't outweigh the risks.

Out of pure, slightly twisted interest (the best kind of interest!) what is the best way to win a fight? Like, go crazy, measured solid attacks or a mix? Or a weapon?

And when (hopefully) should you stop attacking them?

I've never actually been in a fight, though I'm pretty sure I will be in one eventually (had several close calls), but I have no idea how well I'd do/what size of opposition I'd be able to take.
I'm not going to claim to be some sort of god-killing badass (well, not tonight anyway,) but I always use a weapon if someone is seriously trying to hurt me.

Even a pencil can do some serious damage if you don't pull punches with it.
It depends on who you're fighting, though. If you think you can intimidate them by tackling them to the ground and biting out their throat, do it. I would.

If it's not a pussy school fight (which is to say, if they know better than to give you a big hug and roll around on the ground while a bunch of kids stare slack-jawed at the "fight,") defense is your best option. Obviously, if you never get hit, you're not getting hurt. A lot of people who don't know how to fight telegraph their punches - it's not too difficult to move around it and get behind them - just make sure they can't elbow you while you're choking them.

And once again, I'd say it depends on who you're fighting - if you're at school and you just need to hold them until someone breaks it up, a chokehold works really well, even if you don't squeeze as hard as you can.

If it's a fight where there's not going to be any interference, I'd personally suggest making sure they're too unconscious or their knees are too broken to follow you.

You should never, ever throw the first punch, though - especially if there are witnesses.

Furthermore, I've never had to fight more than one person at once, and I wouldn't suggest doing so unless you're obviously their superior or you have some kind of excellent advantage - like a gun.

...Man I really do talk a lot when I'm exhausted.
OK, so basically do what you'd do if you were going to kill them, but stop at the immobile stage. And weapons are good (though that's quite obvious). But never throw the first punch. And any fights I'm going to get into now are in 'the real world' so anything goes.

I reckon though that if I ever did get into one, unless I'd been drinking, unless I actually knew I could take them/had the obvious advantage, as soon as I got the opportunity I'd just run. I'm pretty fast/fit, plus I'd be more likely to run to bouncers/police/a safe public place. Or a nice weapon to hide round a corner with :D

And seriously, my mind is so much more active when I'm tired/it's late. Currently 1:40am where I am and I'm actually coming up some progressive/thought provoking ideas/conclusions!

I've broken a dudes arm before and inflicted some serious mental trauma on a couple of guys that pissed me off. Made one of them cry. I was having a bad day and they deserved it ok?

Where to begin
In a wall of death (perfectly acceptable violence) I broke someones nose with my elbow
When some kids about 3 years younger than me was hassling me and my friends, I calmly threw a glass bottle of milk over my shoulder, and as they were following us, smashed over one of their heads, with blood everywhere where he tried to pull the glass out
And in a fight, kinda drunk, grabbed the guys head with my hands from the back of his head, and brought his head down into my knee coming up, then after letting him go, lay two punches into the side of his face

Funny thing is I'm not very violent ^_^

I remember performing a flying kick to someone's torso back in school. Apparently I shifted his ribs or some nonsense, but I was a big lad back then (well, bigger) I can imagine there was damage of some sort.

Oh and I performed a tombstone piledriver on my nephew. Yeah.

I completely forgot about that until this thread, now I feel quite bad after taking a retrospective. >_>

I was about 16 at the time and it was two guys that used to bully me in school and one day I'd had enough just went off it at them. I ranted for a good 10 minutes at them at the very top of my voice, arms flailing, that they were both nothing more than scum that would hastily scrape off the bottom of my shoe, and proceeded to pick apart every flaw in their personalities, mainly the fact that they were idiots with little regard for the well-being of other people and that they didn't deserve to live.

Then one of them attempted some kind of retort and I made a distasteful comment relating to his recently deceased grandmother to shut is trap. At that point he broke down in tears and I walked away.

I'm not proud of that last part but that fucker deserved it, and it is oh so sweet seeing somebody who has been the bane of your life for literally years break down in a sobbing mess.

That was a good day.
