I have a very typical Australian accent, I use to not realize it till I went oversea's and everyone commented on my accent.

I have this bizarre thing that sounds like a cross between Neutral American and Generic English.
It's pretty close to a sort of cosmopolitan accent, only sometimes you hear a bit of an american or british sounding inflection.
It is incredibly pompous.
I'd rather have Generic Irish.

New Zealand accent but not the steriotypical replace-all-vowels-with-"u" accent. Think Sam Neill.

I can do a passable Scottish accent although a Scot may disagree.

I have a fairly posh typical British accent however there is just the slightest hint of black country in there *shudders*. Anyone who has heard the Brummie accent will know what its like, as the accent is similar but worse!

I speak with what's known as a BBC accent. I have absolutely no accent whatsoever because I'm just that boring.

No missed consonants, no accented vowel sounds, nothing. Just English the way it's written. Not Queen's English, that's different, you only get that through elocution lessons and a chronic case of 'a silver spoon in the mouth'.

Well...er...An Australian accent I would presume. I honestly have way to compare it, as I don't really know how to listen out for my own accent...

I was raised in a military family. We shuffled about the U.S. Dad was from Maine. Mom was from Kentucky. His parents were from Germany and the nearest Apache reservation. Hers were Irish. We moved from base to base through Europe and back to America. Spent time in just about every cultural region of the states.

Came away with an ability to imitate any accent. Still gets Irish when I'm in the grip of a strong emotion (thanks Grand-da). Otherwise, I'm signed and certified grade A "Nowhere" accented English.

Sometimes it sounds like I'm from Jersey and other times like I'm from the south.

Australian, all though many people (including fellow Australians) think I sound more New Zealand than Australian.

Anyone remember this thread? [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.115494?page=1]

this is a few of the Escapists accents, if it helps you guys :D

I actually haven't posted in it yet, though I get mixed opinions on my accent, some people say its an adorable british accent, but a few times I've been asked if I'm american :/
I think when I'm tired my voice changes or something xD 'cause when I wake up really early I slur my words too.
Bleh your accent is hard to describe. It's sounds kinda foreign. Whatever it is, it's cute so :p

My accent hmm, I don't know.... you can tell I am English.
