Decision, decision... at the moment, I'm into Beelzebub, Fullmetal Alchemist and School Rumble.

Well Im loving the anime and manga for Sekirei.

I watched the first series of that, and all it seemed to me was ecchi around a loose plot.

Gets better in the second season. First season was all about gathering the characters.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is the greatest animated series ever. So good, that most anything remotely good is garbage by comparison. The only thing I could argue as being as good is anything from Hayao Miyazaki. Everything that man does is artistic perfection.

Is Avatar: The Last Airbender considered anime? That's a pretty badass show in its own right. If you've only seen the pos movie (live action Ember Island Players), then try your best to forget it and watch the show.

Best anime: definitely Fooly Cooly with Death Note, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun and Code Geass rounding out the top 5.

No other anime is so generous with killing off characters as Geass, not even Death Note. I think it was someone on Escapist who said it best "Code Geass; if you're a sweet, innocent girl you're already dead."

Anime: Welcome to the NHK; a great downer series to watch (the novel is brilliant as well)

I would have to go with Code Geass, Trigun, Darker than Black, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, FLCL, Clannad, and Monster.

I watched Pokemon as a child and enjoyed the idea of animals battling to the death. I did however hate everything Japanese about it.

This includes people falling over when embarrassed, their mouths taking up three quarters of their head at head when yelling, background color changes during moments where the character emotes etc.

I hate you Japan.
