Pixies, Bikini Kill, Death From Above 1979, The Fall, Joy Division, Sleater-Kinney, The Clash, Bad Religion.... probably a few others.

Not my favorite genre, but I stumble upon a gem or two from time to time.

Currently it would be The Cute Lepers. I can't do the whole "of all time thing", because my tastes are like the wind. But currently Steve E. Nix And The Cute Lepers are the best thing I've heard in awhile, it's ashame that there guitarist travis died of an overdose a couple of months ago. Good fun power pop, with shades of Elvis Costello, and gobs of The Buzzcocks.

The Briefs are essentially interchangeable with The Cute Lepers, more or less the same band, and same musical direction. So yeah. The Briefs/Cute Lepers.

Bad Religion and the Clash are awesome. I haven't heard of most of those others, I'll look them up though.

Bad Religion and Rise Against (if they still count as punk...their new stuff doesn't sound like it, but I still like them).

Something about anti-flag doesn't sit well with me. I only like a select few of their songs.

The Clash, easily. One of the greatest punk bands to grace my ears, I think.

Also, Rise Against, Bad Religion, Bobot Adrenaline, Dead Kennedys, Dropkick Murphys and the Offspring.

And, if I'm allowed to bring in a bit of a mix, Cancer Bats, Gallows and Less Than Jake.

I like Rise Against. I wouldn't call them punk, but I wouldn't call them pop punk either. I looked it up once and apparently they're technically considered "melodic hardcore". I just sorta lump them in the category of good music that has punk influence.

Less Than Jake is really good. I don't like them quite as much as like Reel Big Fish but they're still really good.

Yay, a Less Than Jake liker!

I've been meaning to listen to Reel Big Fish for a while now, but I never seem to get around to it. Anything you'd recommend for a first-time listener?

I've been meaning to get tickets for a while now, but it keeps slipping my mind. Also, I can't afford them, I already bought a set for a friend's birthday, since he loves them, where I just like them.
