What's your favorite punk rock band?

Mindless Self Indulgence because they got me into Punk and I like there energy but it doesn't seem like there lyrics have that punk spirit to them, for that I go to my other two favorites The Clash and probably my favorite of the three The Sex Pistols.

Grimple! Props to anyone that knows who they are. Wish they were still around, crazy fucks. Also, Nirvana wass GRUNGE. Not punk whatsoever, not to say they aren't still one of my favorites. MCR and all of those other bands associated aren't punk at all, at LEAST not in the old school sense. Personally I think it's bad music, but to each their own.

Dead Kennedys of course, they helped me keep my sanity while I went through my divorce a year ago (especially "Frankenchrist"). I like Husker Du a lot, "Zen Arcade" is amazing.

Ramones ,Dead kennedys ,Cro-mags suicidal tendencies (not 100% sure they kind of walk the line between harcore and metal)

Suicidal Tendencies FTW!

Their first album is considered one of the greatest Hardcore albums of all time. They strayed far from the genre in their following records, mostly due to constant lineup changes.
