AFI. Best punk band hands down. I know they're not punk anymore, but their older albums, such as 'Answer That and Stay Fasionable', 'The Art of Drowning', and 'Black Sails in the Sunset' were amazing punk rock and I don't care what anyone says, they OWN the Misfits. That's just how good they are.

Not my favorite genre, but I stumble upon a gem or two from time to time.

Pixies, Joy Division, and Sleater-Kinney aren't even close to punk.
