Ranger X, it's a side scroller on the genesis that did things the system that people said weren't possible on it. Was very unique for the time and still is quite the game. Don't pretend you've heard of it.
You controlled both the mech and his monocycle that you could both ride and merge with for different weapons and to switch your special weapon.
Flashback: The Quest for Identity, screw your Prince of Persia, it's all about Conrad and his gun and platform clinging. For a game that was released on so many formats (Dos, Genesis/MD, Super Nintendo/Amiga/Sega CD) it is SORELY unknown and I'm blown away just how few people know about it. To top off the amazing things this game had, it had cinematic cutscenes on a cartridge, I mean literal moving images and what not. Yes they were a bit simplistic in detail but a CARTRIDGE based game had VIDEOS.
