Whats your first memory of Gaming

Doom 2, Spyro the Dragon, and, Primal Rage. Just to name the most memerable.

I have 2 stand-out memories really.

1. Playing Pong when it came out. It was on a friends console, possibly an Atari, but I'm not sure.

2. Playing Space Invaders at the rugby club. I was relatively good, so had a couple of people watching me and "Come on Eileen" was on the juke boxe (it really works as a song to play Space Invaders to).

This really old airplane vertical shooter, I don't remember what it was called. Come to think of it, I don't think I ever knew what it was called. Anyway I was about 5.

That would propably be playing Zonix, Prince of Persia and Leisure Suit Larry on my parents DOS PC... Guess i was around 4 or 5...

Needless to say, i didnt get that much out of LSL other than getting run over by cars all the time... But i remember my parents found something very funny about a girl in a pub restroom, but due to my age at the time they wouldnt really tell me what she said (or did)... Has been bothering me for years now...

Edit: and the picture manipulation in those DOS machines was amasing! you could turn pictures upside down! That cracked me and my sister up alot of times... Now THAT was a fine piece of pixelated technology! But then again, thats over 15 years ago...

When I was about three or so I used to hold an unplugged NES controller and pretend to play Super Mario Bros. while my dad was playing it.

MAN those were the days...

I don't remember what order they come in but I know it was some computer game where I played a math-problem solving dog...Then playing Super Mario Brothers 3 with my brother...Ah man I miss that.

Before I have memory, my parents say I used to beat the controller against my chest when I was about 1 and smile when something random would happen on screen. I was playing games by 2 (the first one I remember playing is mega man 5) and beating them by 4 or 5.

I think it was Missile Command, Atari 2600... there might have been gaming going on before I played it, but that one is coming to mind.
Also, getting up super early to play Mario on the NES before school at a friends house.
