God damn, this. Bloody time vampire. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some blocks to arrange...Sixcess said:Minecraft.
It's sold over six hundred thousand copies by word of mouth and it's not even finished yet. GOTY easily, and has the potential to be Game of the Decade.
So you haven't enjoyed it at all?Russian_Assassin said:Crashout: New Glitches
I get great amounts of entertainment from that game, whenever it is not crashing.
I thought it was 2009 too. That Guy Who Phails said:You're a year late, Dragon Age is 2009.Kasper Gundersen said:Dragon Age: Origins![]()
Wasn't it £10 in the link you posted earlier? (http://store.steampowered.com/app/2610/). But you should be able to get it cheaper than that from stores etc if you can find a copyThat Guy Who Phails said:It's on steam right now for 15 quid, would you recommend it?Kukakkau said:GUN came before it and was really great as well. In fact a lot of the gameplay style seems to come from that (and yes GTA). I'd suggest checking it out since it will only be like £5 or so now.
Upon further reading the back of the game, I've come to the embarrassing conclusion that you are right, my mistakeThat Guy Who Phails said:You're a year late, Dragon Age is 2009.Kasper Gundersen said:Dragon Age: Origins![]()
I got the same problem with it, and I think I know why people praise it somuch, they made a game for the masses.Krantos said:-No inventory
-No control over party equipment
-Limited control of party in mission beyond go here and shoot if you feel like it.
-All missions were various flavors of go here, shoot this. Basically just a series of corridors and chest-high walls. The galaxy, in general, just felt small. There was little to no exploration to do. No random planets to visit, and the places you could visit felt very small and claustrophobic.
-Really stupid method for persuasion. Why does how good or evil I've been make me more persuasive? Not only does it make no sense, it means you have to be all good or all bad to get the best ending, which is a kick in the groin.
Overall, I did like the game, and will probably buy it when the price drops a bit more. It just wasn't anything I'd call a GOTY contender.
If you found ME2 rich, I'd recommend checking out BioWare's other offerings: Dragon Age, KotOR, Jade Empire, and of course Baldur's Gate. ME2 was, in fact, the least rich and shallowest game they've made yet (though, DA2 is looking like it might challenge that. God I hate EA.)
