my town is known for having the smallest natural waterfall in the US
Woohoo!
When does stop being a water fall and become a stream going off a steep bank
It isn't near a stream, it is part of a pond
and it has to be falling perpendicular to the ground in order to be considered a waterfall, complete with some, albeit small, amount of foam
sounds nice

I believe we have the largest urban population of Aboriginal folks in Canada... and soon we'll have the largest urban reserve if things go as planned.

We're also known for crap drivers, and being the murder capital of Canada, being a load of rednecky drunks, and I think we might be the car theft capital of Canada as well.

Famous for it's huge rod.
No really, we have a huge fly fishing rod, due to 6 rivers running through the town.
Odd, but that's what happens when a bunch of weed smoking...people decide to get together
and build a random thing.

Twinsburg Ohio, home of Twinsdays. The festival lasts a weekend (The first weekend in August) and is host to the largest gathering of twins in the world. We have twins come from all over the place to visit. The Health Channel or Discovery Health (I forget which) has recently begun coming to Twinsdays to study the different sets of twins.

Here is their site [http://www.twinsdays.org/]

If any twins on these forums are interested in coming this year, it would be awesome to have you. All types of twins are welcome, including triplets, quadruplets, etc.

If you do end up coming this year, look out for me. I'll be the one who looks something like this:

EDIT: PM me if you do end up going so that I don't have random people coming up to me yelling, "GXAS! Hey Gxas!" (That is, if you can even begin to be able to pronounce it).

Piqua, OH

The Mills Brothers, some ace WII fighter pilot, a player for the US Hockey Team for the last winter Olympics, at one point being a huge manufacturer of airplane parts and underwear.

We also have some fancy hotel that we dropped thousands of dollars restoring only to make it rather bland and move the library. All the other historical and cultural markings we've burned down, torn down, and made room for a Wal-Mart.

Now we're jobless, hopeless, and impregnating ourselves silly while smoking ourselves retarded.

For every bland moment I survive through in this town I grow dumber, hopeless, bored and may reach the point of spree-killer insanity.

Help.

My town had the first commercial pretzel bakery in the united states.

Obama taste tested chocolates in our local factory during his campaign in PA.(Wilbur Chocolate, anyone heard of it?)

We made international news because the school district gave the seniors "mini candleholders" (shot glasses) as Prom party favors.

John Sutter, the "discoverer" of the california gold rush, is buried here.
