code geass(a well written complex show while it may not be most peoples first choice i enjoyed it)

full metal alchemist(had a wonderful balance sad moments happy moments cool moments and a good story,and a few scenes with particularlly great writing)

deathnote(an incredibly smart show which is hard to find in todays quite literally retarded media)

dragon ball z(has so many memories and epic moments,Goku and Vegetas first fight was freakin epic)

elfen lied(this show had tragedy done well,it had some freakin messed up moments but A+ for the sadness)

The only animes I've seen are Naruto, Samurai Champloo, 1 episode of Bleach, and a couple episodes of Full Metal Alchemist.

Samurai Champloo is my favorite and I keep meaning to look into Cowboy Bebop.
Bleach seemed... interesting, although I had no clue what was going on.
Same goes for FMA. I might check it out though.
Liked Naruto for a bit, then realized how crap it was compared to a lot of other animes. Haven't seen it in a long time.

i am basing my list on how into it or obsessed with it i was as i watched it or brings back the best memories(my list are all shows i no longer watch or are over so even if i watch them again i've seen it all before so i don't get the same emotions from them)

1. Dragonball/DBZ(i list them together since they both have the same main character and one continues off of the other...not to mention it gives me another slot) I can't remember getting so pumped up by any other show probably ever(maybe ninja turtles did haha)

2. Pokemon(Such a ridiculous obsession back in elementary school not to mention the games i spent countless hours playing)

3. Ruroni Kenshin

4. Yu Yu Hakusho

5. Avatar: The Last Airbender(so probably not the most legit anime to chose and i laugh at myself for chosing it but my buddies and i(sadly we're all college students haha) watched the entire series last year and thoroughly enjoyed it)

Love all of them to bits, for the sheer fact that they entertained me greatly when I watched them, and that I can remember a lot of the parts that I thought to be ossum or extremely touching vividly. There are a lot of others that are great, but these five stick out in my mind easily. *Nodnod* Speaking of which, I should watch more of Hajime no Ippo, it's one of my favourites, even if I haven't finished it yet. *Blink* o.o
