Chainsaws are a pretty lousy choice when you think about it. All the noise they make is sure to attract more zombies, not to mention that they're dependant on fuel.
Me? I'd go with me trusty ol' katana. And my plated armor of course.
Ah yes, at the end of the zombie apocalypse only those who were prepared fr the onslaught will reign supreme: The LARP'ers.

Chainsaws run out of fuel as fast as Katanas dull (I'd imagine, that's a lot of flesh) and I'm sure I'd be smart enough to bring plenty of chainsaws and shitload of fuel.

Just finished it a few days ago. I'll use the winter to kill as many frozen ones as physically possible.

Why-
Building materials are often in schools, there's power tools, a fallout shelter, food.

-Hospitals have dead, that's where the zombie bitten people will go for treatment
-Any super market will be raided or attacked often for food

I would just grab all the food I can in a bookbag.
Run to my friends house which is close by and slighty bigger.
Break his wooden stairs so the zombies cant climb up and seal the back metal door.
Fill the tub with water of course too.

Well because I live in a town which is way up north, and there's nothing to do but fight and drink...yeah it'd just be a normal day for me. Occasionally find a frozen zombie and bash its head in with a tire iron or something.

4. if about to be overrun by zombies i would blow up the nuke that i built the fort around

I live in a Soviet looking apartment building and there is a food shop right down the entrance. We get everything we can from people's homes and the shop and baricade the roof. The roof is reachable only by a ladder and has a lockable steel hatch. We will be ready for the cold enviroment on a 14 story roof with a lot of blankets and really heavy sheets. Food will not be the biggest problem and I doubt that a zombie will by chance come from the stairs to the 14 floor and start climbing the ladder and even then we will be safe because there will be a watchman at night and: Zombie<Steel Hatch. So yeah I am prepared and have read the Zombie Survival Guide.
