My deep and unrelenting hatred of most everyone around me.

If they want to spend time with me, they can put up with my sarcasm.

They no longer want to spend a lot of time with me.

Pffff. Like I need sarcasm.

Mainly from my dad as I sort of inherited his sense of humor. That and my increasing cynicism at the world. Plus I just love humor in general.

A combination of the misanthropy and cynicism bestowed upon me by my parents long ago and my general wit.

I kind of answered the question with "why I am sarcastic" and not "where my sarcasm stems from."

My mom is really sarcastic, and I also read a lot of Calvin and Hobbes, where Hobbes replied sarcastically to a lot of dumb things Calvin said. I also listen to quite a bit of stand-up comedy, and there's a bit of it from there too.

My endless supply of sarcasm is probably the only thing keeping me from wigging out and killing everyone within a 2 miles radius

The endless british sitcoms probably helped

My sarcasm comes from my Dad mainly. Mind you, he's british so he kind of has to be.

I'm wondering what will happen when I leave the house as I have taken my Dad's role of "Be sarcasitc every chance you get". Maybe it will go back to the norm.

My parents. My mom is a great one for the old eye rolling and 'Sure I will yeah, and pigs might fly.' I think school teachers also exacerbated the condition. Sarcasm is pretty heavily ingrained into the way Irish people talk on a whole though.

I watch a lot of George Carlin's stuff... And people in general just make me angry because they think everyone cares about their stupid shit. ...I'm also an avid Zero Punctuation viewer.
