Two wordS - mirrors GODDAMN edge

Dont get me wrong, most of the time its pretty easy but whats most frustrating about it is how you continually see flashes of a truly great game...and then it just shits all over itself with some of the worst decisions i've ever seen.

The level design is a good example as you will have a few minutes of pulse pounding, truly exhilrating gameplay and then BAM! you hit an elevator that you have to stand and wait for or some stupid fucking tomb raider esque platforming puzzle which normally require the most retarded jumps ever seen.
The coup de grace for me was when I entered this factory, killed all the guards using the shitty combat system and then had to figure out where to go from there. Well the game says if you are not sure you can; a) press b to have the camera point in the direction you need to go
or b) follow the red items to your goal

Well a) the camera will point to where ever you need to go regardless of where you are now, so 9/10 times it will just put you face to face with a brick wall
and b) red objects eh? That would be helpful if you hadnt made the entire FUCKING ROOM RED!!!
How stupid do you need to be to make them the same colour?

It wouldnt be so bad in other games but this is one that preaches about 'the flow' while simutaneousley making you wait in elevators, crawl through vents and play happy slaps with police.

In the end I beat it but I came close to flinging the disc out my window 3 times. By which I mean I was standing there with the window open and the disc in my hands ready to go.

That Mario game for the DS..., forgot the name, it is like the old-school Mario games but with newer graphics, AND I WANT TO MURDER MAN WHO MADE IT I stopped playing it quickly
Huh, what about that game is frustrating?
The hole, making your jumps perfect thing..., I think Yahtzee reviewed it be right back with an edit
You are talking about New Super Mario Bros right? Yahtzee never reviewed it, and while I can see why someone would be disappointed with the game, I don't really see how it could frustrate someone. I found it insultingly easy, especially compared to the older Mario platformers.

Some missions in GTA 4 really blazed my balls.

Any Mega Man game is a pretty good challenge if you asking me and when I say challenge I mean I hate emulators.

-Kingdom Hearts - the Sephiroth fight. Good god. Level 99 and it took me WEEKS to beat this ************.
-Too Human was annoying as hell, especially once those goddamn archer robots showed up.
-Street Fighter 4. Seth is a cheap ************.
-I Wanna be the Guy - don't know if this really counts because only a masochistic idiot like me would actually play it.

Definately GTAIV.

I cannot recount the hours I spent getting this piece of sh*t software to work on PC. 2 registrations, GfW Live, Online- and Offlineprofiles (what the heck? I just want to play the goddamn game), and I couldn't save.

I resigned and bought an XBox360. And bought the game again. Played up to a point where I only had one mission. To follow a guy. Which always went around a corner and vanished. And 15 seconds later the game told me I lost him. And the mission had like 15 minutes of preparation time where alot could go wrong: I could accidentally ram into any car at the toll booth. Or meet a friendly cop. Drive over some guy with somebody seeing me. Each of which made it impossible to get the mission, appearantly I was "wanted".

I hate this game with a passion. And myself for buying it twice. For believing the hype. I deserve no less I guess.

No more, Rockstar. No more.

I didn't find the first Deus Ex all that awkward, what'd you find awkward in it?

Oblivion

Fallout 3

Oh, god.

I got to the first city in both, did a few quests, explored a little, and realized I had no bloody clue where I was supposed to go. Then I realized I didn't care about any of the characters (especially my own) and got frustrated with the entire process. Add to that the whole "you don't get enough bullets or money" stuff, I ended up wanting to throw my controller out the window.

Usually through my own fault of not saving and then finding myself dead. You'd be amazed how many times i had to "meet Paul at the docks" on the first level. Then again, stratagy was another failure of mine. I often ran out of decent weapons or ammo and found myself in trouble with the evil creatures or enemies.

Street Fighter IV, Tekken 5, and Tekken 6 which for some reason I bought and THEN remembered why I did not buy Tekken 5 because Namco amazingly can make an end boss even cheaper than Capcom can.

You think Seth is a goddamn problem, go and play Tekken 6, cry into your fucking blisters, then come back.
I don't suck at fighting games, I just suck at the ones not involving weapons or mascots.

Resident Evil 5 remains to be the only game to ever make me smash and break a controller.

I'm still ashamed to this day, and now treat my controllers like babies.

[sup]Which means I eat them.[/sup]
Woo... what part of the game made you broke your controller?
