All good answers. I recently discovered, through Imdb viewing, that one of Kate Mulgrew's former costars from Voyager also voiced acted in Dragon Age Origins.

Tim Russ, who played Tuvok on Voyagers was Zathrian, the Dalish Keeper in The Nature of the Beast quest. it's kinda sad their characters didn't get to interact, that would have been friggin sweet. I had to go back and watch a youtube clip. It's weird to hear emotion in his voice after getting used to him as a Vulcan.
You should see him play the Principal on iCarly. As a Trek fan, any scene he's in becomes instantly hilarious.

OT: I can think of a lot of voice acting performances I've enjoyed a lot.

L.A. Noire is one, for sure, since it 100% managed to make me forget people were acting. I was never conscious of voice actor X, or the delivery used by the actors (which is something I normally pay very close attention to). About the only times I was conscious of bad acting was when a young girl was a character. Otherwise, it did exactly what you'd want good acting to do; not even notice it.

Dragon Age: Origins is one I like for slightly more shallow reasons. I just liked listening to those characters talk. I would switch my party members and increase affection values just so I could unlock more dialogue. They're just very soothing voices is all.

The game with my favourite cast, however, is Saints Row 2. Have you seen some of the names in that game? And they all give great performances. They're having a blast and it shows. All the different bosses are great. The minor characters all have personality. It's just great.

Batman: Arkham Asylum. Mostly for the fact that it uses the original voice actors from the animated series. I mean, Mark Hamill as the Joker? Pretty hard to beat
QFT The joker voice overs make this game all the more enjoyable

also Mass Effect 2, Red Dead Redemption and FFX

I am gonna throw GTA: san andreas out there. Sure the content wasn't all that serious but they had a great cast of characters that really grasped the sattire I think the game was going for and the talent they had for the characters really shined.

And of course, "it. Had. James Woods. Doo dee"

Since people have named most of mine, I think I'll add Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow

Begbie, Captain Picard and Lucius Malfoy? Oh, hell yes. Especially love Patrick Stewart's narration at the start of every level.

I also quite like Liam Neeson in Fallout 3, but admittedly you don't see him very much in the game.

Enslaved was really good in that one regard.

Also SoTC, as it didnt have constant incessant chatter.
Demon Souls was pretty good too, slightly over the top.

He's in DCUO as well, but the VA in there is meh-worthy

Batman: Arkham Asylum and Brutal Legend had some pretty good voice acting, and I'm also quite fond of the voice work in Tales of Symphonia (the first one, at least, mainly on the grounds that most of the previous game's voice actors were replaced for some idiotic reason. And I'm still really miffed that I could have had two of my favorite voice actors - Scott Menville (Lloyd) and Johnny Yong Bosch (Emil) - working together in the sequel for one of my favorite JRPGs! Grrrr...)

Stephen Merchant in Portal 2 could well be the best performance I've ever heard in a video game. He really seemed to have genuine enthusiasm for the project and he was just hilarious.

J.K. Simmons was pretty funny in it too.

I enjoyed the voice acting in Medal of Honor (2010). It was by far the most believable FPS I have played in a long time, and I credit the superb voice acting and sound design overall.

GTA IV. not only do the actors play a wide variety of roles and accents, but they all commit amazingly to the comedy of the game.

I have to give props too San Andreas aswell, Samuel L Jackson and James Woods were great as Tenpenny and Torino respectively.

Arkham Asylum, god, the animated TV show actors were some of the best to portray the characters ever, and to have them reprise for the game, MADE that game for me...
