Kyle Hyde. Hotel Dusk Room 215... sure he was a salesman but come on. Man had skills.

I'm gonna have to say L (even though I did like Light better...). He was just so cool and quirky. x3

Actually alot of people like L but I prefer W.
After all... W was not only smart enough to come and accomplish what L could not do..
He also WON and Survived.

L had to have things explained to him at the last minute of his life.
Not exactly "great detective material"
Also the Question from DC.. not the new one (Detective Montoya)..

For me, I also like Fillmore from Disney's Fillmore as a detective Chip and Dale the Rescue Rangers, and Darkwing Duck.

And of course, Clue Club.
I mean, they would ALWAYS solve the crime, but I knew it all the time.

Oh and Ghostwriter, from the 90's. That show was awesome. I think.
I seem to recall it being awesome.
But I also thought Eureka's castle was awesome too and had my first wet dreams about her and me caught in the castle after hours and then she'd...
um..

Anyway. Thats obviously a subject for another thread.

Master Li from the "Master Li and Number Ten Ox" series, a super fun series of Detective/Adventure stories set in an extremely fantastical "Ancient China that Never Was." Also I'm probably the only person who has read these...

Anyone else here read Sandman Mystery Theatre? Wesley Dodds is worth a mention, just for the sheer awesomeness of his costume.

There is only one answer, in my mind, for this thread.

SHAFT.

Seriously, it says in his intro sung by Isaac Hayes himself, "Who's the black private dick that's a sex machine to all the chicks? SHAFT!"

Can ya dig it?

Second Place: Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowry (Bad Boys)
Third Place: "Sonny" Crockett and "Rico" Tubbs (Miami Vice)

Basil of Baker Street, better known as The Great Mouse Detective.

I'm also partial to The Question.
