Edward Morgan Blake "The Comedian"

Pictured above, just before he guns down the woman pregnant with his child.

Not the most TOTALLY BEYOND evil character ever, but a strong contestant for plausible evil human bastard.

Roderigo Borgia from Assassin's Creed comes to mind. Yeah I know he was a real person, but the game's version of Borgia was just a massive evil asshole. Made the punch up with him worth it.

That's easy. The Elder God from Legacy of Kain. Not only did he have a great evil voice, but he twisted every single person in the game, even Raziel and Kain. You can't get much more evil then that.

Mickey Mouse. He's ultimately responsible for the constant extensions to copyright terms, thereby impoverishing the public domain. Plus, his laugh is creepy.

This guy, he is like a cross between Lelouche (sic) and Light, but he manages to do everything without supernatural powers. He will convince you to kill yourself, or kill others, he knows everything about you: what makes you happy, what makes you sad, but best of all: how to scare the living shit out of you. Hell, he kills everyone one man contacts just because he asked Johan how he felt, his response: "you'll find out soon enough". Loneliness, to prove that point he killed everyone that man came into contact with.

Pikachu.
Brainwashing millions of children to want over priced Pokemon merchandise and forcing parents to spend their hard earned money on poorly made junk rather than some quality products.
Compels many to buy games from a game series that should of died out naturally a decade ago.
Enslaves Ash Ketchum and his friends to pitifully battle against other children and there terrifying pocket monster masters.

Now that you mention it I would've never got into Pokemon, or still like to play the games at 22 years old, as much as I did/do if not for Pikachu. He will always remain my favorite.

But for my choice the first idea that came to mind was The Umbrella Corporation. Not just one person, the whole damn corporation as one giant evil character.

I used to consider the Joker (not Dark Knight, regular old comic book Joker) to be the most evil fictional character ever. And then Cartman made friends with Cthulhu on last season of South Park. Combined with his long history of evil, I think that puts Cartman in the lead

Medusa from Soul Eater is pretty incredible, guilty of brain washing and body snatching in addition to the normal murder and such.
I definitely think Medusa is the BEST villain though, or at least best anime villan. Most anime villains are either dumb brutes or, much more likely, manipulators from the behind the shadows who never get their hands dirty even when they easily could. Medusa is manipulative and scheming, yet always knows when to throw down, and throw down well.

Gilgamesh, cos he's calculated and cruel. Seriously read what his character is actually like and does (he's not as "nice" as the anime makes out)

Basically in order to keep his prana levels stocked up he absorbs the souls of children, also he comforts a little girl when she's lost her sight and is crying only to rip her heart out of her chest a second later. He loves toying with people and believes everyone to be beneath him.

Although he's not the most "evil" in the series he is still my favourite lol

Just about every character from the Preacher series- apart from Jessie Custer, Tulip and a handful of people from the town of Salvation.

But seriously, Marie L'Angelle (Jessie's grandmother), Jody, T.C., The Allfather, Herr Starr, the Saint of Killers, The Angels & the Heavenly Host, God himself, The Vampire family- even Cassidy is revealed to be a horrible person before the end. All of them just horrible, horrible people that youre just waiting for the time when they get their comeuppance

Dr Horrible.

but not really, i think it would have to be Darth Sidious, mostly because Remorse doesnt exist for him and you never see him do a good deed.

Can I ask why SammiYin got a warning for his post?
To be perfectly honest, I (and I'm willing to believe that I'm not the only one) was thinking the same thing. I know that this might seem like trolling because of the backlash that various gods (but mainly the Christian/Judeo-~Christian one) get on this site but the fact remains that god in the Bible is a fucking evil character.
So can I get an answer?
I wouldn't mind an explanation of SammiYin's warning either.
Seems unreasonably tetchy.

And I agree with you yet more, HardkorSB.
"I wonder if anybody's put forward Yahweh yet" was the very first thing I thought when I saw this thread.

You don't need to look far into the Bible to see how malicious the main character can be... It's widely accepted amongst the book's fans that Yahweh banishes every creature he creates (including the ones called his children) to a world of pain, inevitable death, and the prospect of eternal, unimaginable punishment as the penalty for not using their free will to do exactly as he says, because a talking snake tricked them into doing one naughty, reversible thing on one occasion...

And that just takes place in the introduction...
Go read the forum rules and see that it was a low content post.
Jeez, people got to stop putting so much emphasis on religion.
OT: Captain Vidal from Pan's labyrinth. He seemed like a real monster to me at first.

In a fanfiction of "familliar of zero" where the main character was a complete mary-sue (being perfect, always right, knows everything, above any consequence and common sense)AND a complete evil murderous monster with no redeeming values at the same time.
Evil because its somewhere up there with "my immortal" in term how just unbelievably bad it was.
Well, anyway, that's how i felt when i saw it.

On topic; Evil is kind of a broad definition, there is all sort of evil characters out there.
To name a few that i can remember; Kefka (crazy), Randall Flagg (cuz he can), Elfen Lied (general cruelty and squick)..

Hank Scorpio from one episode of The Simpsons. He KILLED James Bond and seized the East Coast of America. He's the definition of evil.
lol that was my favorite episode! And I'm even a pretty big James Bond fan.

OT: I would say Sauron for pretty obvious reasons.

I would go Dr. Horrible on this one, but I don't think he can count on this one. My next choice would be Moist, but he never did anything great (although he was the "Evil Moisture Buddy")

So I have to go Bad Horse, the Thoroughbred of Sin, who leads the League of Evil with an iron hoof. He spent years perfecting his whinny. His terrible, terrible, death whinny.

Yourself in Evil Genius.

YOU SEAL CLUBBING BASTARD! (Seriously, one of the more difficult missions is a seal-clubbing scout trip.)
