Mitch Hedberg was my favorite. Now I'd say Chappelle. Went to one of his shows, never laughed so hard in my life. Well, except that time my roomie brought home an obvious tranny and was completely oblivious, only to come running screaming out the door a while later in only his socks.

I can't name one, but my all time favorites (at least the ones that I remember the names of) are Bill Hicks, George Carlin, Lenny Bruce, Mitch Hedburg, and Rick Mercer, the latter of which is Canada's best social commentator at the moment. One day I hope he finishes his weekly show and becomes Prime Minister so we can get rid of the fat robot.
