well i saw the demo and it looks like a big plate of awesome & chips. Just a lot of humour, mindless violence and big guns - what more could you ask for?

Oh yeah, tits. Thankfully it has that covered also lol

Not me.

I did not play the game when it was new 14 years ago and I am not going to start now.

I do not have fanboyish nostalgia when it comes to this character.

I frankly do not care about this hyper male misogynistic jackass.

Probably won't. I'll be too busy with Dead Space 2, Ico, Shadow of the Colosses, and The Last Guardian.

I won't. I don't own a computer. I'm writing this in the public library and it closes in 37 minutes and I want to stay on TVtropes and what am I gonna do?!

Definitely not buying it. Way too over-hyped and so not the type of game I enjoy.

I won't be buying it for the same reason I didn't buy ModernWarfare2, Bad Company2 and I won't be buying the new Medal of Honour game.
The same reason that I wish I hadn't bought BioShock2.

I want to actually play a new game with some originality and something new and fun. I don't sense that the new Duke Nukem will honestly have ANY of that. Same old stuff. I'd also be very suprised if it bore any reseamblance to the game that 3DRealms were making in the first instance.

Played the PS1 games and the XBL remake of one. Didn't find anything special, I'm not interested so I won't buy it, simple as that.

Eh not really. Because just the sheer amount of wait and hype that this game has/had, it will take a near PERFECT game to meet my expectations. I know that's probably not the case however. :(

*waves hand* I'm not, I'm not! Seriously I was over Duke Nukem over 10 years ago. The fact that Gearbox has brought his bland 1 dimensional ass back from the dead doesn't mean they can bring my interest in the franchise back from the dead too. There isn't a necromancer on Earth that could pull that off.

I'm too Young to have been a gamer when Duke nukem was a gaming God. However i am now too old to laugh at dick and shit jokes. so yeah, i'm in a strange situation. considering 99% of reviewers will be... on their knees 'working on' Nukem, with nostalgia when it launches, i guess my only hope for an honest critical opinion lies with Yahtzee.

I've never played any Duke games so I won't be playing this one. That and it just doesn't seem all to intereting to me at the moment to try to get into it.

I'll definitely check it out. It'll be interesting to see how the game shapes up after being in development for 12 years. I'm glad to see Gearbox has been putting extra effort into developing and promoting the game.

I would at least rent it if for no other reason than to see what the hell it is that took such a long time. I mean, it spanned 3 freaking generations to make. It would have to literally be as awesome as ZP described to justify taking that long.

I think everybody is gonna buy it, even if it's rated AO.
No, ADULTS will buy it. it's illegal to sell an Adults Only game to anyone under the age of 18 in Canada. If mommy wants to buy it for junior, great! Not his problem. But not EVERYONE will buy it.
I have never actually seen an AO game in a US store then again I have never looked.

The content of the trailers and what has been revealed thusfar makes me feel offended to be a person who plays video games. It will be released with much fanfare to be realized with much surprise to almost everyone but me that it's a generic first person shooter with high detail graphics and high replay value for the simple fun of shooting things. The fun is there, but everything else will be samey and bland, with extra bits to tick off the ESRB and pander to baser instincts.

It will be largely forgotten a month after release, and I will chortle heartily.
