THEY CAN DIE. I hate it when people start saying that Necs are immortals, what are you, retarded?
Incorrect, when a Necron is destroyed it teleports back to the tomb world until it is repaired; yes the tomb world itself can be destroyed, so they are not invincible, but they are immortal.
Says it in the rulebook.

They WERE space drawfs, but they were such a shocking embarressment that their very mention can spark arguments where GW is concerned. The official reason for anyone who cared about them was the nids wiped them our almost, leaving them as only a small colony of abhumans. I think that they were removed around about 2nd edition.

Tyrannids.

Nothing can stop their all consuming nom.
Necrons can; The wepons prevente them from being reycyled and there are just as many necrons as tyranids they are just having a nap.

They are space dwarves, and they are dead.
It's best not to talk about them. People who do mysteriously disappear.

Necrons, because you can kill them as much as you want and they will still, eventually get up.
And you can't stop an army that runs on any energy at all. Meaning, to beat them, you'd have to remove all forms of energy in the universe.

Not too oriented with the 40k fluff, but based on what I know I'd say Tyranids or Necrons. Or both, am I wrong in saying that they kind of leave each other alone for unknown reasons?

The Imperium. It's such an incredibly vast empire with unimaginable military might, the only reason it doesn't crush any enemy is that it's busy fighting them all at once.

Probably the Orks or Tyranids. They're the only one's with the numbers to pull it off.

It's been a whiles since I stopped playing, but I think according to the fluff there was a massive Tyranid fleet heading towards human space at one point. An Inquisitor managed to divert it by conducting exterminatus on a bunch of Imperial worlds and thereby wiping out the fleet's potential food supply along that route. Instead, the Nid's flew straight into and Ork Waaagh! and have been fighting each other endlessly ever since, with plenty of reinforcements arriving constantly for both sides.

Thing is, if either side ever actually won that war, then they'd be able to recoup their losses incredibly quickly (in an Ork win the blasted apart Orks spawn more Orks; in a Tyranid win there are plenty of dead Orks to eat and make new Tyranids with), and then will have an army of unholy proportions to march against Terra. All the other races are outnumbered and would soon fall, with possible exception of the Necrons in the event of an 'Nid win, since the 'Nids seem to be afraid of Necrons for some reason. Also, if the Orks win then Chaos will probably survive by retreating back into the Eye of Terror, which by being the only enemy stonghold left to the Orks apart from their own, will quickly come under assualt by perpetual waves of Waaaghs! and the two will battle again for all eternity.
The Tyrannids are afraid of the Necrons for obvious reasons.... the necrons are made of living metal... nothing for the tyranids to feed upon... waste of tyrannids fighting them.

If one race was to be a victor I would have to say it would most likely be the necrons.... Not only do they have the most powerful weapons (gauss and powerful wargear wielded by units such as the Pariahs)... but when they are starting to be defeated in battle.... they dissapear in a thick mist, including the fallen... allowing them not only to repair with their advanced self repairing technology.... but taking the dead with them leaving nothign for the enemy to analyse to attain ana dvantage. Also, to make up for their apparent lack of numbers compared to say the space marines or orks (not tyrannids as they avoid necrons)... they have Scarab Swarms. They also have Wraiths among their army... perfect for assassinating key targets or avoiding damage in a large fight with their phasing abilities that are even more useful than the eldars warp technology.

I'd say Orks would win.
If ever a bigger Hive Fleet comes to our galaxy, the resulting conflict will draw in more and more Orks from all around the galaxy for a WAAAGH. Thus, the Tyranids would be the factor that was needed to unite all Orks in the whole galaxy, making them the most powerful force.

Well since the whole Mythos is made to be balanced it means that there will never be a winner as such.
Necrons days are numbered for 1 reason in my oppinion, if a third of their forces are beaten in a battle they Phase out and return to their tomb ships. So if the Imperium could get their collective arses into gear and kill a third of the whole necron force (or just get the Orks to do it, don't even bother saying the ELdar could do it cause they are the biggest waste of time ever) then the Necron should go back to Statis.

Of course if that happened it would boil down to Orks (because they are so resiliant), Nids (because they are impossibly humungous is number) and Chaos (because when they get mangled they reappear back in the warp)

Necrons would own everybody! I mean, numerous forces underground, that when you snap their spine all the way back, they still keep shooting at you!
Also, as their enemies would die, their troops would grow stronger.

EDIT: Ouch, yer bringing cold, hard thought into this one. I do not belong.. :/

Necrons are the more logical choice in this matter. They're not as pressing or ravenous as the tyranids, by any means, but that's not how death works. Death is slow, calculating, and inevitable - just like they are.

On a separate note, I'm an eldar fan.

They're also using their dying race status to create a new god of death.
