That's why the world would save us. We go under, no one will get their pay.
You know the trillions we give to Africa in the name of AIDS awareness. The extra food and medical supplies we give to the UK, Canada, and all the other allies just so they can turn around and give it to some other country for PR. One point we gave 11 million a year to the french to then turn and give it to the Chekz.
All that debt gone, oh and the UN is the USA and pulls the bulk of the troops in the hotspots which no one else wants to, let alone leaving our nuclear arsenal up for grabs.

I don't think anyone would even try to invade the US, to be honest. Even if you could somehow get your troops across the ocean and keep them supplied without draining your treasury (and don't tell me Canada would invade; They're far too busy enjoying their universal health care to give a crap about us), the effect of an invasion of the the United States on the global economy would make the Great Depression look like a bad day of trading.

You go to war to kill the bombers and the people who support them. As if you didn't notice, most of Iran's bomb squads went to Iraq not to kill US troops but to slaughter Shieits.

Canada is a high income developed nation. Mexico is middle income at best and still a developing nation. Perhaps civilized was a bit harsh of a term. I was just referring that Canada would have a much easier time taking control of the American culture.HentMas said:

I'm not so sure about that, the states on the border with mexico are already filled with people who are getting tired of gangs and drug cartels coming over and ruining their lives, the mexican military is a joke, and largly corrupt.And despite my joking earlier, Canada probably doesn't care enough. The middle of America is where the rest of Americas food comes from, in case you were unaware of that.
As I said earlier, that military hardware would make it into the hands of the various crazy civilians, not get sold to someone overseas. Who's gonna stop us? The military? Shit, I'm a little over fifteen minutes away from APG, I would think my property would look pretty good with some mobile artillery parked there.
