You're not the only one man, I'm in high school right now and almost every girl I've met is a complete airhead with a pound of makeup on, or some smart girl who was unfortunately beat by the ugly stick/ has some serious issues. My advice, just keep looking around and try to get to know some more girls, and when you finally see an average to good looking girl that's at least slightly intelligent and you enjoy being around, grab hold of her and never let go. And don't be shy about it for they don't seem to come around often. I myself have found a girl like that, but she's currently dating an emo. *Sigh*

Maybe you're going into it with the wrong attitude? Women have let you down and so you head towards relationships expecting disappointment, which could ultimately be leading to your bad experiences? Only a thought, I could obviously be completely wrong, not having much relationship experience myself (Guys find me weird

Honestly, you might be looking just a tad too hard. Most people I've known have found the right one for them by accident, they weren't setting out for a relationship and simply found the person interesting. Bonus that they were attractive (which does play a part in it, both physically and mentally).
Instead of being so picky, try casting a wider net. You might be surprised at whom you find more attractive if you limit yourself a bit less.
