To quote an old saying "the garden might smell of shit but the roses aint half beautiful"
Too many people on these forums focus in on the bad and then decry how crappy everything is in a vain attempt to appear wise and wordly, in truth they're just adolescents gripped by angst and will grow out of it in a few years, all that cynicism is bad for the soul.
"No," says the darkly brooding teen looking out from underneath a fring of black hair that covers his eyes, "it is my soul that is bad for the world!" And then proceeds to almost cut himslef, then toss aside the scissors and mutter, "it's not even worth it."
Heh, heh... You made fun of whiny teenagers. I like you.
I'm not "losing faith in humanity". I despise that phrase. I get that you made this thread for the sake of sarcasm, but I still feel the need to make my feelings towards all the misanthropic pricks known. This isn't directed at you, but at
them (and you know who you are).
If you have no faith in humanity, you are welcome to end yourself so that you don't have to be a part of it anymore.
Shut up about how much you hate people, and how they're all stupid and evil. Human beings aren't inherently good or bad. We've all got good and evil qualities, and it is up to the individual to decide which qualities will be prevalent in his or her own life.
So, if you hate humanity, I advise that you grow the hell up.
P.S. Sorry about how angry that post was, but the "people suck" mindset just really annoys me, due in no small part to the fact that I used to dabble in it in high school.

I lost my faith in humanity because kids at school were mean to me and called me names. It has absolutely nothing to do with the thousands of years of genocide, slavery, war, oppression, indoctrination, avarice, exploitation, famine, injustice, discrimination, bigotry, hypocracy, religious fundamentalism, cruelty, ignorance and callousness that humanity has demonstrated and we let continue to this day.
LOL.
No, really. I never say "lol" because I don't actually laugh out loud. But I did at that. So... kudos.
