better question, why do women steal your hoodies??
Dammit, YES! I was at a massive camping event where this nutter of a girl stalked me the whole time, she stole my hoody, stretched the fuck out of it (with boobs and whatnot) and spilled something down it. Ordinarily I wouldn't have asked for it back, but I knew that if I let her keep it she would have assumed "OMG HE MUST LOVE ME!!!" so I took it back and binned it.
Is "whatnot" the new terminology for comically fat?

No offense, man, but it kinda seems like the girls in your life are trotting right over you. If it really bugs you, put your foot down, and tell her to get her own stuff (or buy stuff for her), that your wardrobe helps fit you, and that her wardrobe helps fit her. It might be cute a few times, but to wander off with more than what can be counted on one hand is a bit much. If it's the post-staying the night "I need something that I wasn't wearing yesterday" argument, then tell her to bring a change, or to keep a spare shirt and pants at your place, on the other side of your closet. Be firm, say your stuff is yours, and her stuff is hers, and that she wouldn't want you strutting about in her clothes, so the same applies.

Its the domestication thing. Honestly considering how fashion conscious women can get if they're willing to wear your clothes its for one of two reasons-

1) They feel comfortable enough around you to be showing you them when they're not at their best and having spent the last hour effectively working on how they look.

2) They like your shirt.

Finding commonalities between you and your girlfriend, no matter how trivial, is typically a good thing. If it really bothers you that much start running around in their clothes. I think they'll get the message.

My boyfriend wears practically no t-shirts I could steal. I keep forgetting to tell his sense of fashion that the 16th century has been over for some time now :X

I don't know why we do it, but we wouldn't complain if you wore our shirts... Well we might. I probably wouldn't. A quirky boyfriend is the best boyfriend.

Plus we like to look cute, and there's something iconic about wearing a boyfriend's jacket or shirt as a nighty.

I sometimes like to snuggle with his shirts, because it has his scent on it. And the scent is comforting to me when he isn't home. But I am not a shirt stealer.
This is what my wife claims when she wears my shirts. Makes me feel pretty awesome, really.

Or anything of mine really.
This as well. Especially when she wears one of my button-down shirts.

How are you getting so many women if you wear 7xl shirts? I wear XL and im not exactly slim, and women arent exactly banging down my door lol. Anyway, kudos to you for being able to pull that shit off.

I'm pretty sure the main (good, not bad/spiteful) reasons why GFs take their BFs clothes are because:
-It's comfortable
-It reminds her of you (due to the smell, design, or whatever)
-She likes how it looks

As a female, I can safely say that it's hard to get something simplistic looking that's comfortable. Most things that are made for women are form fitting and are often brightly colored, so it's also possible she's taking it simply because it matches her taste.

Hell, I've taken some of my brother's clothes because of that. (that probably has my mother thinking I'm some sort of lesbian despite how much I go on about Kevin Perira and how damn hot the marines & sailors are at Fleet Week.)

I can't steal his shirts to wear since I usually wear a 2x so its nice and baggy. XL is fitted over the twins, anything smaller and it would be a crop top since I am busty.

Only my prize hoodie is a 7XL, my actual shirt size is 4XL (and I'd be a 2XL if I wasn't broad shouldered and barrel chested).

As for how I used to do so well with the birds... attitude. It all comes down to attitude.

I wear mens Pajama pants or boxers to bed most of the time. My boyfriend comes over and spends the night a lot, and there are times he ends up having to steal a pair of my pants because he left his at home. It makes me laugh, because he hates asking me for them.

I think most women would complain if I started wearing their tees. Anything less than a 3XL is going to get stretched to fuck. Anything less than an XL is going to get torn... and doing "HULK SMASH" is only funny the first 5 or so times.

Though it's not just women stealing the guys stuff. My ex boyfriend borrowed my Black men's london fog trench coat, it was hell to get it back. I though I was going to have to use a crow bar to pry it out of his hands.

Because they smell nice. I've stolen t-shirts from some of my male friends because of the smell. Also, they were awesome t-shirts. I use them as nighties.

As for hoodies, they're nice and warm on a cold night.

Yeah same here. Except my undies... thats a rather turn off...
See, that's still a turn on for me.

Seeing a girl wearing my boxers is just indescribably sexy to me.
I'll second that
