I come here because it is one of the more mature forums on the internet. It has a sense of community, one that won't verbally rip you a new one if you say something stupid. And it is one of the few places I actually feel comfortable enough to talk. At all. Which usually takes a long time.

So, why do you do it?

I started posting here a few months ago, when working on the most boring summer job ever, writing health and safety reports. Since then this forum has become that site I check every time I'm bored or procrastinating.

I'm a casual fisherman of thought.

I cast my line, searching, relaxing, with a deep curiosity and feeling of potential. Sometimes you get a great catch that tickles your brain into thinking from another perspective, and sometimes you don't catch anything at all.

I also believe that I'm a rare type of personality, and come here to meet the like-minded, perhaps giving advice and council to the younger versions of myself. Or maybe someone might do the same for myself.
