To put it simply, because he gave one reason for invading Iraq (when there was obviously another reason for doing so. Tony Blair went through the same thing here in Britain; even though he stopped the IRA troubles, he'll be remembered for Iraq, Britain's version of Vietnam. Bush is in the same situation in the US - and this is without taking into account hurricane Katrina, the economy as it is (and undoubtedly will get worse)and the fact that he can't speak publicly. I could go on, but...
Is that reason enough?

I pretty much refer to him as "Azathoth" now a days since that's what he is while I refer to his VP as "Nyarlathotep" which is rather fitting.

I find our president just fine and have nothing against him. People just want someone to blame.

Its really that simple.

*shrug* I can't change anyones opinion or such, so I guess I'll just have to stay with the few who support him.

I have one small, almost insignificant question...just who in the blue hells is George Bush, Jr.? I've heard of George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush, but no George Bush, Jr. Is he a bastard son I'm unaware of? And, is he George H.W. Bush, Jr or George W. Bush, Jr? Or, are you simply not aware of how the whole Sr./Jr. suffix convention works?

I am dearly hoping you are joking.

Why no comment for the Ultrajoe? I thought he made a good point.
Unless of course if this is one of those "agree with me or I'll shun your posts" kind of threads.
Great reply, I aggree with you. I recommend everyone watch Bill Maher's New rules on youtube for a hilarious update of Bush's idiocy

George W. Bush, the current president of the United States, son of George H. W. Bush, a past president.
George Bush Jr. = George W. Bush, known as Dubya.
George Bush Sr. = George H. W. Bush, father of Dubya.

I find it appalling that you, an American have to be told this by me, an Australian. One who isn't that into politics to boot.

Well no offense to the man but he's really bad at being president mainly that he spent 11 billion dollars a month on a war, how is that even possible?
Oh, it's possible through Congress and Executive Orders and stuff like that.

If he and Congress agreed on it, he could spend trillions per month.

........That's a scary thought, isn't it?

The man just comes across as a complete moron. The sheer volume of gaffs in speeches and his general behaviour that he's made lead me to believe he isn't fit to dress himself, never mind run a country. And that's before I start disagreeing with his policies as well.

George W. Bush is not a Jr. his father is George H. W. Bush.

For him to be a Jr. either he would have to gain the H. or his father would have to lose it.

well he WAS lying about the nuclear bombs thing, considering he didn't even give th invesigators enough time to properly search the country for the bombs, and as soon as he invaded the country he also took all their oil.

the invading of the said-countries was not only wrong but horrifically executed: the two countries are now in an even more fragile state than they were to start with, having democracy forced upon them. (which just didn't work, should have been a more gradual shift to make people more used to the new politics)

Bush jr. has done bugger all to help with environmental issues. its cars still produce tonns of CO2, and little environment awareness movements have been made.

oh and America, for the rest of the worlds sake DON'T vote McCain into office... not only is he basicaly a clone of Bush, but he has chosen a rather ignorant running mate (no, i don't CARE if she is the image of an average American mother, politicians should be good at leading, not good at shooting and spending ridiculous amounts of money on clothes.)

if you look up a lil on Google, you may realise that much of the world outside America agrees with me. thanks :p
