1) He's a capitalist.
2) His administrations have fucked up both within his own country and internationally. See the US health system, and the way that Cuba is kept as a 3rd world country due to the US not allowing ships to visit its waters if they've been there within the last 8 months.
3) He's an idiot.
4) He believes that 'God' told him to run for presidency, and then decides to call those who disagree with him 'evil'.
5) He is in the pocket of oil companies due to his past executive position.

Maybe because he started his first term with a trillion dollar surplus, and now, nearing the end of his term we are in a 4 trillion dollar debt.

Questionably: One B-2 Bomber = $2.2 billion. So, by that standard, he's buying 5 B-2 Bombers a month. And to think I was shocked to find out that price in CoD4...

Also, the Democrats were voted the majority party in 2006 BECAUSE people were spiteful at him.

And he's not helping the economy with his disinterest in the environment. By refusing to raise mileage standards for US cars, we effectively CAN'T sell cars to China because we don't even meet their standards.

Also, quote: "We are making progress in Iraq." What progress EXACTLY has been made? Apart from reforming the country, that is. Saddam was capped in 2003, was he not?

Um, I don't really WANT China to have more cars. I'd be afraid I'd die if I ever tried to walk anywhere over there. And remember, kids, it's not a steriotype when it's completely true.

Eventually China will take over the world by sending all their cab drivers to different countries... Then we will be doomed.

Oh, by the way, China has terrible pollution problems. Maybe our cars aren't as environmentally-friendly as theirs are, but I think they have other stuff in China that pollutes a lot more.

The man just comes across as a complete moron. The sheer volume of gaffs in speeches and his general behaviour that he's made lead me to believe he isn't fit to dress himself, never mind run a country. And that's before I start disagreeing with his policies as well.
Yeah, I feel the same way about that Stephen Hawking character. What a fucking retard that guy is, I mean, he has to have a computer talk for him. Not getting into details about how I may disagree with his views on quantum physics and all that, but just the fact that I'm going to judge the man on the way he communicates...

Do you see what I did there? I made you look like a dick through satire. Now disagreeing with things people do is fine, but judging someones mental capability simply by the way they talk is a bit shallow and conceited. (and no, I am not a Bush fanboy, I don't support a lot of the things he does, but I'd like to think I'm mature enough to be above making fun of the way someone talks in reference to how well they make decisions.)

@Samurai Goomba:

Well, that wasn't really the point I was trying to get across :p. It's that he's screwing the economy while saying that his plans are helping it.
And actually, come to think of it, if China doesn't buy their cars from the US, then they're getting them from somewhere else anyway, ya? Made in the USA doesn't imply cheap.

I have one small, almost insignificant question...just who in the blue hells is George Bush, Jr.? I've heard of George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush, but no George Bush, Jr. Is he a bastard son I'm unaware of? And, is he George H.W. Bush, Jr or George W. Bush, Jr? Or, are you simply not aware of how the whole Sr./Jr. suffix convention works?
I am dearly hoping you are joking.
Why would I be joking? There is no such person as George Bush, Jr. Well, there probably is somewhere in the world, but he's certainly not the person you guys are talking about. Just because father and son are both named George doesn't automatically make them Sr/Jr, for that to work they both would need to have identical names, ie: George Herbert Walker Bush, Sr. and George Herbert Walker Bush, Jr.

Alright now, no need to get all uppity and upset. I was just making a point, not a personal attack.

You understand what that point was I hope.

I find our president just fine and have nothing against him. People just want someone to blame.
Not to inflame the thread...

But your right. We do. And he is the one to blame.

Its really that simple.
No, there is no one person to blame. Bush is one of them but not the only one. He's just the first politician who everyone in the country knows so he's a good person to pick out as the reason everything sucks
1) He's a capitalist.
2) His administrations have fucked up both within his own country and internationally. See the US health system, and the way that Cuba is kept as a 3rd world country due to the US not allowing ships to visit its waters if they've been there within the last 8 months.

1: That's a good thing in my books

Judge him by his positions and what he's done. Not how he talks.

I know I started this topic a bit late.
This is just a topic out of curiosity... I don't want to start a flame war or anything like that.
If your excuse is "he lied", please state the lie. If that lie has to do with the middle east and nuclear weapons THAT WAS NOT A LIE, he was just wrong.
Has he really done that bad of a job?
lol he lied about the Weapons of mass destruction drove our country into two wars that costs our country 10 billion a month, killed 4100 of our soilders thanks to his bold faced lies not mention that he has showed that he is slow acting and incompentent and does not deserve to be President or even be in politics or even live in the United states!
FOR THE LAST TIME... He did not lie... HE JUST DIDN'T KNOW

You say "he didn't know" like it's a defense. It simply switches the crime from perjury to criminal incompetance. He's the president of the United States. It's his job to know these things.

The fact is, Bush could have been better prepared for what happened if he read ONE memo, and acted accordingly. One with a pretty alarming name at that. That ALONE could have changed a good deal.
You do relise that the goverment, quite coincidently, were running simulation of the 9/11 events on the day it happens (So you can't say they did nothing to prevent it, it just happened too soon)

True, many presidents have had to make unpopular decisions, but at least their decisions helped the country in the long run.
Quearry: How do you know his decisions won't help the country in the long run if the long run hasn't happened yet? Or how do you define "the long run".

When Joseph Wilson told Bush that the reports of Iraq attempting to acquire uranium from Niger were wrong and Bush continued to use it as justification, it became a lie.

I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with you here. I personally think he lied. My point is that he is either a dirty liar or a complete imbecile, neither of which should be president.

Weather you agree or disagree with me is irrelivent. The point is that you actually understood what I said (If it wasn't for the fact that this topic is political I would of said "/emote gives warm hugs)
