Why does everyone hate the PS3?

My friend had his Xbox 360 fixed by somebody who ISN'T Microsoft after the warranty expired and he's never had problems since. There. I said it. Problem solved. No flaming just because I own a PS3, especially since I won mine for free in a freaking blogging competition which was a longshot which I'm unlikely to see repeated twice in my lifetime.
Anyway, I like both my PS3 and my Nintendo DS (a Sony PS3 owner who owns a DS? UNFORGIVABLE!). My brother, a Wii owner, doesn't "GET" Noby Noby Boy because he's used to GTA IV when he comes to visit my house. I guess some fanboys never change.

If you say you own a 360, they will mock you for hours and certainly if you play Halo they'll never shut up. People hating the PS3 are usually fanboys that can't take it that there are people that might like another console than the one they own. The same counts for Wii haters.
I own a PS3 and I don't see the problem with it. If you check the Guiness Book of Records Gamer Edition. It says its twice as powerful as a 360. Thats why its so expensive. People just shun the PS3 usually because they're halo fanboys. Just ignore them.tokoolforranch said:

i love my PS3, the sleek black beast stands proudly in my room and i wouldnt have it any other way. my friend has a 360, i play it all the time and have no inherent problem with it (my eyes tend to hurt more after playing it but that could just be me) but i'm happy with my choice
some games designers put off the ps3 versions because it takes more effort to work with the system where as the Xbox has specs and tech more akin to a PC.
the reason for no DLC for fallout is because of exclusive licensing, it's unfortunate that i miss out but unlike others i'm not going to bag out Microsoft for it, its a smart business (and avertising) tactic. i mean Sony did the same thing for the ps2, for a long time titles like Final Fantasy, GTA and MGS were playstation exclusive and it earned them a boost in sales. the only thing i think playstation could do better is have trophies contribute to your PSN store wallet (or even just credits for 'Home') but then Microsoft fanboys would probably call them copycats
