Why is the Ninja wearing orange?

Here's another thing that seems odd, I was watching my friend play today
(he likes Lee) and it seems like every character's pants are about two inches two short. they all stop around their ankles instead of their feet. whats the deal with that? have all the characters had recent growth spurts or are capris all the rage with the ninja crowd these days? maybe its just really popular in Japan, though that still doesn explain this dude...

Taste you say, bah! I've seen maybe 2 "anime" (animes?) that I would consider watching, were I not completely insane. The rest I was disappointed/disgusted/enraged/nausiated/annoyed at, Naruto being a prime example.

I had a friend who insisted I sit down and watch the show with him. I obliged, was not impressed. So he brought out the "original translation", which is somehow better because now I have to read something absurd while trying to follow the inane-cartoonery.

Suffice it to say, his television and box-set were left in ruins.

TheceFace I could say the same about ninety percent of all TV; you know the whole ninety percent rule and all. Oh and pay no attention to dub purists most of whom can't speak let alone read a word of Japanese, those morons will have no real idea what a good or bad dub sounds like. It's like a non native English speaker trying to argue with a native English speaker about the horrors of certain parts of Speed Grapher and Black Lagoon that are in English in the original dub. I want to find the worst Japanese speaking westener and just pump his or her voice into the offices of Japanese studios to make them feel the horror I feel when they go and abuse English.

When Miramax picked up Princess Mononoke, one of Studio Ghibli's producers didn't forget the previous disaster and reportedly sent the Miramax execs a katana with a note saying "No cuts."

My point is you can't criticize an entire existence over Naruto, as shit as it may be. Trust me I like anime and I never got the appeal.

I dunno, it still all looks the same to me; the art style, the voice acting, the hair.

The thing I can't stand, is the eyes, oh how I hate the eyes.

Just FYI, my oldest brother had me watch a movie called "Cat Soup". Weird as hell, but I enjoyed it. It wasn't "sickeningly cute" or "over-the-top violent/perverted", but actually demented and creative.

Not trying to start too much ruckus here, but I saw a website a while back. Don't get immediately turned-off by the name of the site, look at it first before you start hating/disagreeing with it.

I do not support/agree with/condone this whole site But I do think it makes a couple of very funny (good) points about the similarities and absurdities of a few popular cartoon series. I would recommend checking it out if you're bored, but I warn you it is over the top and NSFW.

Claymore has much better writing for the most part and it's basically Berserk with girls. (This is not a bad thing.) Go read it/watch it.
