Why so much hate on young teenagers?

Because we suck... trust me, teenagers are some of the worst people on earth. It's when kids think they're adults except then completely miss the point of being an adult.
We're entitled, self-absorbed idiots who think we know about "the real world" but don't, yet try to prove we do.

Because, mostly, Young teenagers are too immature to handle the adult world that they're opened up to in Middle School. So you all become a bunch of obnoxious morons who have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. So in many ways you're a lot like Republicans....

It's the stigma that's attached to the vocal (spoiled, stupid, loud, high pitched, lol 1337 nub ki113rs, annoying, wannabe tough guys, wannabe pimps) minority. I'm sure the majority is quite bearable.
I dont really think its an assumption. I think its basic fact and it goes well beyond the escapist. As an adult I can look back on my teenage years and see where I was an obnoxious prick. I cant help to wonder why someone didnt cave my head in with a rock with some of the garbage I pulled.
However, it is also a matter of perspective too. We live in a day and age, where ideally it is expected that our children will be better off than we were. I remember growing up living off commodity cheese and peanut butter. Yet the kids im responsible for have absolutely no problem whatsoever to waste food. Kids also break things too. I did it when I was a kid, I see my son do the exact same thing. However I think it is representative of this generation coming up, as some one else put it, the generation of entitlement. For example he YLOD'd his PS3, and broke the pin inside the power inlet on his PSP within the same week, and his reaction was, Oh well, Ill just get a new one.
All of this goes back to the studies that have been done that show that chemically the brain of a teenager is not balanced the same was as an adult. They are illogical, irrational, and abrasive. Its not their fault, they are just migrating from the body of a child to the body of an adult, so of course things will be out of whack.
I think if there is hatred toward teens on this forum, it would likely revolved around people saying things without thinking, posting generally abrasive posts, and making an obnoxious presence felt. Fact is age or maturity has little or nothing to do with that, because anyone behaving in that manner is likely going to generate the same aggro, regardless of their age.

Because my peers are freaking morons. I live with it every day i go to school. 180 days of idocy. It hurts me on a level that only the soul can feel.
They're too young to have experience with anything or to be given any responsibilities, too old to be given any leeway, too loud for all the wrong reasons, too impulsive for their own good, and too hormone-filled to do anything about it.
Speaking as a teenager, we can be REAL arrogant pricks, and everyone knows it because they were one. Our taste are questionable, we can be rude and rebellious, and we don't have very good judgment, due to our hormones going on the fritz and what.
Since Teens are serious assholes, everyone calls them out for it, thus this is where the hate comes from. But no matter who you are, when you are a teen, the shit hits the fan for a few years.

Let?s face it, when you are tweens ( I hate that word) you make the Disney pop people famous, when you are teens you make rock and bad punk groups big, and the whole time you think you are in the right.
While you may be a nice teen that doesn't count. You are judged with your clan/species and lets face it the morons are far more numerous the smart ones.
