See, my facebook profile is a giant joke, for instance, I am in a relationship with my right hand. No joke.

I have a facebook. i changed the language to pirate. its fun to see it in porate!

Yeah, I did this, it got really annoying after a while. Mainly because I was starting to talk like a pirate.

The only use i have for facebook is for sharing photos but aside from that it is fairly useless if you can use the internet since the apps are basicly bad flash games and i can talk to my friends in real life and discuss things like this on real sites

Hmm I have a facebook myself and I see what you mean.

I just use it for the sheer convenience. The interface is simple and easy and it makes a good social diary. Plus it's easier than email, especially in the case of people who get so much spam mail that they don't even check their inbox anymore.

I wouldn't say "it's brilliant! amazing!" etc. but it comes in handy at times.

OP sounds massively antisocial... not in like a harsh way just sounds like you've already figured it out it isn't for you, so why moan?

I have to say, youre predicament is (was) similar to mine, I kept being told to constantly get facebook,and i said no, i dont see the point in it.
then ame the summer holidays where i had 6 weeks to waste, so i got a facebook account, and, you know what,I still dont see the point in it, its a load of crap.

I think it's (can I swear?) complete and utter BULL****. All these websites are the same, My Face, ASBO, nahhhh.

Facebook is a smartarse version of Bebo; which accounts for a huge portion of my spam inbox every day, even when blocked. If I want to keep in touch with people I don't see every day, I speak to them either: over the phone, Xbox Live or MSN; which has got microphone attachments for chatting.
Having some slow responce, lazy ass way of my friends saying "Wubu2?" an hour after seeing them drives me up the f***ing wall.

Most of my friends have facebook and tell me to get it aswell, I just slap them in the face and tell them I've managed to keep in contact SUCCESSFULLY with pals I've made over the 6 different places I've lived, which is 5 more locations then they ever have...

Conclusion: Don't waste your time with all that crap, even the quizes are shite. just go to quizfarm or whatever if you wanna take one, at least they're good there. Oh, and MSN does 99% of the stuff these websites do... the only difference is the responces you get on MSN are instant.

some people I cant see every day and its cool to be able to connect with them once we all spit up and went to different colleges. This forum is NOTHING like facebook. I go here to discuss games and sometimes flawed politics. I have actual friends on facebook.
