Wasn't this a joke article on The Onion or whatever it's called at some point?
Certainly reads like one but don't spoil it, it's still funny :)

The husbands thoughts go something like this "No I'm sure that she got pregnant from a movie and that she was just giving that naked man CPR while being naked herself"

Anyway this is one of the stupidest article's I've seen in a while >__> and it makes me sad.

That can't be real. It's has to be a fake. Or a joke. Please?

...there. are. no. words. to. describe. the. stupidity!

I hope for the sake of my sanity that she's not serious, and is in fact just trying to hide an affair, and her husband is merely in denial.

Because if they actually BELIEVE this........I don't want to live in the near vicinity of these people for fear of their stupidity being contagious.

Well, I call bullshit on that. Doesn't seem like a really reliable source, if it's not even satire.
On the other hand: I'm sure there are people that are tht stupid, and that makes me sad.

If nothing else, we can take one thing from here: learn your fucking biology, dammit.

I did some digging around, and it turns out the story is a complete and utter fraud. It turns out some Onion-esque Brazilian newspaper did this called the "Sensacionalista."

Even Gizmodo made the mistake, and promptly removed the article.

That clears it up. Thanks for the research

How... Why.. What the... I have no words. There are no words. The only things that come to mind are these:

Someone's sex ed was severely neglected. Okay, who volunteers to explain the business of the birds and the bees to these people? Because I'm too appalled to assume the duty...

Edit: Apparently, the news aren't exactly fresh, the story dates back to May 2010...

It's nice to get a joke article posted from somewhere other than the Onion... gets more people that way.

But come on, really guys. Even if this story was 100% real, how does that have anything to do with the US military? It's like telling a story in which a fireman was gullible and then protesting the fire department...

No no, you DID read that right...

What makes this story even more amusing is the fact her husband said this... :')

?I see it as suspicious. The films in 3D are very real. With today?s technology, anything is possible,? he said.

Probably the best story i have read in my life :') what do you guys make of this?
Hey, this sounds very familiar... *looks at article date* ...Yeah, this story came out May 7th last year, hun ;-) Thank you, it is very interesting and I'm sure it's new to many people, but it's still rather old news. I remember when this was on FOX News and CNN and whatnot.

Damn.
How...Why...I mean this is so stupid. I think the husband is suffering from PTSD or something since he just got back from active duty. Why else would someone believe the wife's explanation?

Well, this certainly makes a very good case for reading the whole thread before you hit the 'Reply' button.

This being so artfully batty, yet so apparently believed, reminds me of the 'Loony Left' stories you used to get in the newspapers. You know, the ones about how nursery schools were told they had to sing 'Baa Baa Rainbow Sheep' so as not to be Racially Insensitive. Just as daft, just as fabricated, just as widely disseminated as fact and as splutteringly, monocle-poppingly seized on as proof that We're Going To Hell In A Handcart. You still get them now, except it's usually some bollocks about how a council's going to rename Christmas "Winterval" so as not to offend some entirely hypothetical muslims.

The chapter in The Demon-Haunted World by Carl Sagan, in which he advocates the cultivation of a mental discipline called "The Baloney-Detection Kit", should be required reading in schools. As should the rest of the book, come to think of it.

The main thing I liked about the Techeye article was the comments, the majority of which seemed to be bent on verbally eviscerating the 'husband' for being so stupid and gullible.

*Tsh* Bullshit. She probably cheated on her husband and is just using it as an excuse.

(And is it wrong that it really doesn't surprise me we have 3D porn now?)

Actually the Irony of this Story, and that People believe it is not that its truth or fabricated. The Problem of the whole Story, which is ironic is that, as fake and laughable as this is, which i pointed out on page 1 in that there were simply no words beyond "What" to be said about it.

The Irony is, it could be true, nay i dare say it is. Somewhere, at some Point a Woman will use this or a similar excuse to explain her cheating on her Husband and he will believe her, for whatever reason he might do so. They will stay together despite his wife cheating on him and using the most absurd Excuse ever.

Hell i still believe that the first Women to be recorded of doing so was that rather famous Woman in the Bible that apparently got "impregnated by God". I mean whether its true or not, its the best excuse ever because it cant simply be disproven other than by God basicly coming to the Husband and confirming what his wife said.

That guy is either dumber than a sack of hammers, or in deep, deep denial.
Or the wife is very convincing and has an awesome pokerface
You'd need to be superhuman to convince people of this story. With some kind of mind-altering superpower.
