I'm very pumped about it, just like everyone else here in Germany seems to be. Normally I don't care about football, but this is different.

Oh, and Germany will win ;)
Sorry, with Ballack out I can't see how they'll manage past the second round. Good team, but young.

I have to be honest, even though I'm not a huge patriot. Go TEAM USA!

The world cup has stolen my television, severely impairing my xbox time... And I don't follow football, even slightly. Although a group of friends decided to run a sweepstake, and I drew Italy. So, since I'll get £25 if they win, go Italy!
Not a bad bet, they are the world champions after all!
I know at least that much. But the person straight after me drew Spain. And I'm fairly sure they're better. By which I mean I fully expect them to win the world cup, fluke games notwithstanding.

I'd still like to see England win, I'm just not interested in the competition enough to watch it.

Though we're doing presentations about countries in the World Cup.
It's pretty fun, so thanks for the WC :)

1-1 FT. Great opening game. Well done South Africa, they played well. A poor moment in defence cost them the victory though.

I don't really care about the World Cup. People in England get really worked up about it and it's all over the media. It starts to get pretty annoying. So I hope England get knocked out early, so everone will shut up about it.
World Cup and Big Brother at the same time, media overload and a load of TV channels showing stuff I'm really not interested in. I really hate this time of year, but if they aren't lying it's the last ever Big Brother at last.

Nice goal by South Africa, and the nations goes insane.
Damn it... now the bloody horns are even louder. Come on Mexico!
It's called a vuvuzela. Each one is apparently as loud as a chainsaw. They annoy me.

I'm pretty annoyed that we couldn't get that last second goal, pretty damn annoyed. Oh well, we tied 1-1, which is a lot better than most people expected them to do.

Come on England!

Just watched the South Africa vs Mexico match, and i thought it was a great match to start off the world cup, and what an opening goal.

Huh, I never knew you were South African! Cool. Sorry for rooting against you... it's just the horns :D

Germany is my pick as usual this year I think they can do it.

South Africa I think they can stay in for most of the tournament but I don't think that they will win it.

Oh man, that Tshabalala (great name) goal was quite something.

Looking forward to watching England get started. Let's show Johnny Foreigner how to play football.
