Im about to defend Halo and its not the first...oddMcNinja said:Halo 2. Actually, any ending where nothing is accomplished in the game, or everyone dies/makes the whole thing pointless.
It was a fun game, I LOVE THE GAME. But the ending without any addons was really lame.AWDMANOUT said:Chamale said:Fallout 3's ending wasn't as much of a cockslap as people say. How'd I forget this one? Most definitely this. I didn't know what was going on the entire time.shadowstriker86 said:Imma burn the sacred cow and tell what i think has a pretty damn bad ending....
Kingdom hearts 2
i mean talk about LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNG, boring, gay and a stupid reason for having a cliffhanger. jeez let the horse you shot die already, jeez.
I agree assassin's creed 2 worst game ending i've played.unholyavenger13 said:assassin's creed 2
hell i like the over the top sci fi aspect of that game
how it mixes it with history
but all you do is fist fight a fat guy
not fun at all
Borderlands wasn't much for story. I wasn't expecting much of an ending to be honest.AidoruKami said:Borderlands. I love the game, but... That was just a really, really bad ending.
Oh, and Tales of Symphonia.
On another note, I've absolutely NEVER understood all of the hate on BioShock's ending. The final boss? Yeah, ok. But the ending? I've just never understood why people seem to hate it so much. I really liked it. How'd you want it to end?
And, while I can understand the hate behind Fable II's... As someone already states, I found it to be hilarious.
So why is this here ? .. I mean if it actually touched you that much then it was a good ending, unless of course it made you cry because of how bad it waspantsoffdanceoff said:Fuck you Atlus, You could have made the end to Persona 3 ambiguous but you have to add that fucking graduation scene. I've never cried during a game, I did then.
Yeah... I edited that part. Either way, it was really pathetic even though I didn't imagine it having a good ending.Miles Tormani said:Borderlands wasn't much for story. You hated Tales of Symphonia's ending? I liked it. Seemed to clean up the hanging plot threads neatly and efficiently. At least, until Dawn of the New World decided to start with its civil war crap with "Lloyd" killing people from Palmacosta of all places.
I didn't like Bioshock's good ending because the atmosphere of it was so jarring. You took all the nice people from that evil place and now they're all happy, sunshine and rainbows everywhere. I never saw the bad ending.
Fable II's ending was... okay.I liked the dream sequence, and how it showed how your character grew, even showing what he actually looked like at various points of the game. The part where you take down Lucien, however, was underwhelming. No final boss? Really? And then Theresa takes over the Spire in return for you getting your dog back? (Yes, I picked the family card.) Lame.
It was, however, completely awesome if you decided to wait for Lucien to finish his monologue. Reaver saying the equivalent of "fuck this," shooting Lucien for you, and then going "Oh, I'm sorry, did you want the glory of taking him down?" was his absolute best moment as a character. Especially since he was voiced by Stephen Fry.
Didn't notice the edit. My bad.AidoruKami said:Yeah... I edited that part. Either way, it was really pathetic even though I didn't imagine it having a good ending.
AidoruKami said:Eh, I was... -kinda- kidding about ToS. It is one of my favorite games. However, I was more referring to the VERY ending. The ending as a whole is fine, except for the final boss. I found the final boss to be sort of underwhelming.
Generally people ARE happy at the ending, though... How else could they have really done the ending?
The sad part is that one of my friends never saw it, despite beating the game.AidoruKami said:Yeah, I agree with what you said about Fable 2. The moment with Reaver was the part that I found awesome for it, and I actually think it made up for the rest. XD
Agreed, but Rockstar always has that problem with game story lines, just look at the ENTIRE GTA series. I am of course referring to why you have to play that character.Chamomiles Davis said:Red Dead Redemption
