Well I somehow managed to watch Repossessed with a date... or parts of it, before we just ignored the TV and started fucking, and honestly if you can make out to a parody of the Exorcist you can make out to anything.

Someone lemme know if they manage to get very far watching Elfen Lied or Night Shift Nurses...

Gummo.

She'd think you were a fucking freak, and it'll be full of awkward silences where the film is quiet and you both wonder just what the fuck is going on.
THIS.

Holy fuck, this.

Scary movies are usually good but I have a feeling Saw and Hostel go a little too far.
Unless she likes that stuff which you should probably run.

lol It's true that if you start with that, your relationship might be shorter than you'd want it.
Now to address the topic, I think it depends on who you're dating. Take me : if a guy took me to see Twilight or any other movie of the sort, that would be a bad choice. I am so not into romance movies.

It really depends on the occasion, but I once saw The Taste of Cherry at home, and an Ex of mine saw it with me, needless to say she was bored out of her head... didnt last long lol. People sometimes are just blocks of brick..

A Clockwork Orange (I actually recommended this to a couple who asked for a good date movie at Wal-Mart. They must not have heard of it because they apparently seemed to want to find it. I don't know what happened to them next, but it still makes me laugh).
Ninja'd so hard. I also saw disaster movie somewhere.

Twilight, but not for the same reason everyone else had. If we're going to see Twilight, I didn't pick it out, which means she did, which means that, if I actually agreed to this, I'd probably have to bludgeon my date with the popcorn and gouge my own eyes out with the usher's broom.

Beat This:

When I was about 14 years or so I rented an anime movie to watch with a girl I had a big crush on. I was not well versed in anime and had only seen a few things like Robotech, Guyver and MD Geist. I found this VHS with a kick ass demon on it and thought that this was to be a sure hit (she is cool, so I didnt need a chick flick).

The title of the movie was Urotsukidōji. For those well versed in such movies you might guess the rest, but for those who arent, here is what transpired:

We sat down to watch, and just about when the demons started appearing in some hospital...the demons also sprouted extremely huge and long dicks and proceeded to rape both the hospital and the girls in it.

I was in complete shock (and she was needless to say wierded out.......) and it was one of the absolutely most embarassing and awkward moments of my life.
so, was there a second date?

The Expendables.Still a good film. Just not on a date.

Do you even need to think why?
I think that's debatable if she's into the old school action movie stars she'll love the movie

O.T. ninja assassin and machete blood and gore cranked to 11 (among other things in machete)

I was asked by a girl for a date and she decided we should see Brokeback Mountain.
We're still friends.

A movie with a complicated and interesting plot, cause then you actually have to focus on the movie and not on your date.

Good and interesting movies I can watch by myself or with friends, if I have a girl over then I'll want to get to know her and/or just fool around. Not sit quiet and turn my attention to some flickering lights.

Old Boy. It's a great film I won't deny that. One of my favorites to tell the truth. But it isn't exactly a mood setter. Unless the mood you want is unease.
