Honestly, it's so terrible, it's funny... When the game was originally released, it had NO enemy AI, so the other cars wouldn't even race against you, but then the company "patched" it so that they had AI... however, they wouldn't cross the finish line, so you would ALWAYS WIN.

ET should be mentioned more. Get a hold of that (I don't think I can mention Atari 2600 emulation on here...) and play it. Seriously, worst "game" ever made. As in, you laugh real hard at it for a few minutes since it's completely and utterly broken, then destroy it. That bad.

I'll agree that the biggest disappointment I have ever had as a gamer was DoW2. Soulstorm always was our game of choice to play at an internet cafe lan party with friends, then I bought DoW2 on release day full of excitement, booted it, played 3 campaign missions and 2 skirmishes, then I spent about 30 minutes saying "why, why, why, why, why" to myself. They just ripped out all strategic elements that come with building order and base defense by, uhm, not including any, they made the population limit be about 2 and a half squads long, the AI pathfinding was getting stuck EVERYWHERE and they made the graphics look like a bad cartoon. Gone was the excitement, gone was the brutality, gone were the massive battles that ended with a gigantic clash of Baneblades and Squiggoths in the middle of the map, gone was everything that made this game fun. This must also be the only game that I actually threw away, I've never done that before, since hell, I paid for it. But DoW2 was impossible to keep somewhere, it just had to go.

All I can add is that I rather liked E.T.

the Sims games. I never could stand them at all. Why so many people bother putting money into such a boring franchise is still beyond me.

But this is coming from a guy who owned E.T. and played it as much as Defender.

I completely agree. I tried it, ran around for a little bit, did some tasks, got bored, and stopped. I will never play that game again.
