Episode 1 - pretty uniformly awful, apart from moments of extreme awfulness (whenever Jar-Jar was on screen).

Episode 2 - awful "romance" stuff, but Yoda and Mace Windu both kicking ass.

Episode 3 - awful, but had General Greivious (an interesting twist), and also we get to see whiny Hayden Christensen getting dropped into lava.

...sooo, Episode 1, I guess?

Episode 2 without a doubt.

The original trilogy are classic.
Episode 1 was ok, at least we got the awesome podracing and the lightsaber duel.
Episode 3 was alright if you ignore the truly TERRIBLE love scenes. I like to watch the beginning battle scene, then skip straight the last lightsaber battle when watching.

Episode 2 is just terrible. The battle sequences didn't do much for me, there's no iconic lightsaber battle to rest on like the others have. And it's the movie that focuses the most on the love scenes which.... is... just awful...

- They fucking retconned Padmes death. This might seem nerdy, but I think it's a big deal. In Return of the Jedi, Luke asks Leia about her mother. Leia said she remembered her, she died young and was often sad. LEIA KNEW HER MOTHER. SHE DID NOT FUCKING DIE AT CHILDBIRTH. Picky? Fuck you, this is inexcusable.

Anyway, fuck the prequels and anyone who likes them. Glory to the orginal trilogy.
I'm pretty sure she was talking about her adoptive mother, whom she believed was her real mother.
Don't even.

Episode I, full stop, just for sheer mediocrity, also why all the hate for Episode II, it introduced Boba Fett and had some of the best battle scenes, it was a bit more pure action than the other Star Wars films but it was quite good.

Episodes I & II were both awful in my opinion, the first trilogy and episode III were awesome however.

Well if i'm honest it'd have to be episode VI. Mainly because episode IV and V (my favourite) were just stronger in general. And the prequels dont even deserve to be disliked. They can all die in a hole for the great atrocities they caused, for example, Jar Jar.

Actually, I think she was talking about Shirley MacLaine. The dying young stuff was just wishful thinking on her part.

All the prequels sucked. I disliked episode 3 the most, but the other 2 were still crap imo

Fine I'll expand. I just wanted to quickly state my opinion and get out
Now his motivation is to prevent the death of his wife. Nothing wrong without until we look at the lengths he goes to. He murders the Jedi, children, an his wife...waaaaait(not to mentions tried to kill his friend and mentor). The reason he started down this path was because he had a few bad dreams. That seems like a really poor reason to join the Sith. In the first(fourth) movie Obi-wan speaks of Anakin highly and as if his fall was fairly tragic. As we saw Anakin really wasn't that far from evil to begin with. If all the persuasion Anakin needs to kill Count Duku is Palpatine saying "Do it" evilly, then he is really just looking for an excuse to join the dark side or kill people. The oddest thing is when Anakin was 8 he was basically an angel. Where did that extreme change come from? As for the "no" at the end you referenced. People laughed hysterically at that scene in the theater I was in. If people are laughing at the scene you intended to be the big dramatic moment of the movie, you did it wrong. Now I only addressed Anakin which is the main problem but there are plenty of flaws without him.
He had the same dreams about his mother - who then died - and it's more an involuntary force power as opposed to just some bad dreams.

I disagree that he was borderline evil already. He's troubled and finds himself at odds with the other Jedi at times, but he's still very much a Jedi. As for the Dooku thing, you could argue that he felt it would be better if he were just dead - since only he and Palpatine would know - or even that Palpatine used a bit of force trickery on him when he said "do it" to push him over the edge.

That's not odd. He's 23ish in RotS; he's gone through a tiny bit more since he was 8-years-old and (like I've mentioned) he's seen his mother die by now too.

As for the "no", if people found it funny then that means the scene didn't go according to plan, not the entire film because of 3 seconds' worth of footage.

Oh, and about murdering everyone: when he joined Palpatine he now believed the Jedi were evil and that they couldn't be allowed to continue. He's already seen Mace Windu try to kill Palpatine (hypocritical after the Dooku incident, but he considers Palpatine a friend), and Palpatine's been feeding him lies for years. If you believe a group of people are evil and by killing them you can also help save your wife, then it's hardly an illogical leap.
