hands down, episode 2. i actually liked episode one, but holy shit, this took it to new levels. Just a horrible, horrible movie.

what's your least favorite?
How is this not a poll?

And yeah. 1 is shit but 2 should have learned from it and the fact that it didn't hurts it even more.
Oh man I completely forgot about it. Wow, is there any way to add a poll?

I don't hate any of them, but episode two is probably the weakest in my books.
Really I just don't like how Annakin was portrayed, he's far to whiney to be the future Darth Vader.
Hayden Christensen improved between episodes two and three, but still came off too weak and angsty.

I can't really decide. I'm going to say 3, though. Anakin was a MASSIVE ***** in that one and it made General Grievous uncool. How does one make a robot with 4 arms and 4 light sabers uncool? Ridiculous.
He (Grievous) went down like a sack of crap. I expected him to be more involved in the story than that. He was in two scenes and then died.

Pretty much the entirety of the new trilogy (episodes 1,2&3 for those who need clarification)
They all had a few good points, but nothing to make them good.

If I was asked which movie do you want NOT want to watch now from the Starwars series, I couldn't choose between any of the new trilogy. Each is so bad and boring that I don't want to see any of them and I can't choose the one I want to see the least. The same could be said for the original series because I've seen them so many times, but that is hardly a reason to hate a film.

I'm going to pick episode 1, because if the story had started from a later point in time (episode 2), I think the series could have been written far better with more attachment to the characters. Young Anakin was such a cringingly bad actor that I wished him dead before I could fall in love with him as a character. Oh, and then the movie ends before he can redeem himself. At least with Ep 2 and Ep 3, the story seems to be staying on track with pre-established history. Ep 1 was out of fucking nowhere, and had almost no bearing on the grand story.

I'd have to say Episode 2, the love scenes between Anakin and Padme were just... horrific.

Now, if you need me, I shall be going back in time to prevent these movies from ever existing!

OH MY GOD YOUR ALIVE, YOUR IN 1885 (it's 1885 right????) BUT YOUR ALIVE!!!1!

OT: Episode one had a decent enough idea but miserably failed on delivery. Episode 2 was just utter and total shit. And Episode 3...... made Darth Vader more whiny then 2 did. (The only real flaws in Episode 6 was the renaming from Revenge of the Jedi to Return of the Jedi. And the Ewoks.)

Episode 2? What the hell are you on about? There are only episodes IV, V and VI.
Yeah, what's this "two trilogies" I'm hearing? I know there was that weird fan-made set of prequels that some toy company made...

Oh... OHHH. You're talking about the Ewok movies! Yeah! Those were terrible!

And creepy as hell, too. Hands-down, the Ewok movies. Especially the second one.

Wait, what? I really haven't paid too much attention to Star Wars besides the films and a few games, but did they really make Ewok movies?

Yes, they made two full-length movies centered on the Ewoks and a family from Earth who got stuck on Endor. It's MILES better than, say, the Christmas Special, but still... not too hot. Nobody really WANTED a movie about the Ewoks, you know? They're kinda' clones of The Dark Crystal, if that makes any sense. They're in that same sort of tone.

It's hard for me to judge them individually. Episode 1 dug such a massive grave for itself, and for it's sequels, that it was impossible for them to climb all the way up top.

Making Anakin a kid in the first one, meant that Lucas only had one movie where he had to establish a friendship between Anakin and Obi-Wan, and a romance between Anakin and Padme. Had they started out with Anakin being a teenager, or atleast a main character (it's his story anyway), the rest of the movies could've been a lot better. But all that was only the tip of the massive iceberg of shit that are the star wars prequels.

So.. yeah. I'll say Episode 1, just to pick one.

Edit:

The "romance" in Send in the Clones prevented me from seeing Episode 3 for about three years after it released. There was one good bit in Ep 3 with the "arise Lord Vader" thingy but even that was ruined by not getting David Prowse to play suited Vader. Caravan of Courage was better than those three films.

Also going to have to say Attack of the Clones. I like Phantom Menace, but that might just be because I was hypnotized by Liam Nesson...

Either episode 2 or 3.
Just choosing right now I'd say episode 2. Giving it more thought might change my mind though.

I thought they all sucked. One had nothing going on, and was really boring until the end when a few people nobody cares about die. Two has the horrible romance between Anakin and Padme, and then still didn't really advance the story. I'm pretty sure a three year old could tell you Count Dooku is evil, and there are more Sith. The Third wasen't exactly a horrible movie in my opinion, it was just a horrible Star Wars movie. I mean sure they had some really nice action scenes, and some of the light saber fights were epic. But they lost all sense of that wonderment that you feel when watching the original 3. I felt like Anakin was whiny, but I liked the reason he turned to the dark side. It made him seem a lot less evil, and more of just somebody who was afraid for the one he loved. Although I thought that the weird scream at the end was a bit off, even if it did last for a few seconds.

If I had to pick one of them, it would be the first. Just for the reason that at least the other two had some pretty cool fight scenes for some entertainment, and the first one spawned the other two. The entire series could have been fixed if Anakin had started out a teenager, they had spent two movies on creatng a romance between Anakin and Padme, and spent more time on Obi-wan and Anakin.

Not Episode 3 because it really turned Darth Vader from a badass to a character with human issues that he has to deal with, and provides a powerful reason for him to join the Sith, not just because he wanted "MOAR P0W3R".
I agree totally.

OT: Episode 2 is the worst. I really like Episode 1 too actually, and I think Episode 3 (with the exception of Empire) is a cut above the rest. There are some duff lines, but if you think the original films had stellar writing you're deluding yourself.

It makes it more embarrassing when people say the entire film is ruined because Vader went "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" for all of 3 seconds.
Fine I'll expand. I just wanted to quickly state my opinion and get out
Now his motivation is to prevent the death of his wife. Nothing wrong without until we look at the lengths he goes to. He murders the Jedi, children, an his wife...waaaaait(not to mentions tried to kill his friend and mentor). The reason he started down this path was because he had a few bad dreams. That seems like a really poor reason to join the Sith. In the first(fourth) movie Obi-wan speaks of Anakin highly and as if his fall was fairly tragic. As we saw Anakin really wasn't that far from evil to begin with. If all the persuasion Anakin needs to kill Count Duku is Palpatine saying "Do it" evilly, then he is really just looking for an excuse to join the dark side or kill people. The oddest thing is when Anakin was 8 he was basically an angel. Where did that extreme change come from? As for the "no" at the end you referenced. People laughed hysterically at that scene in the theater I was in. If people are laughing at the scene you intended to be the big dramatic moment of the movie, you did it wrong. Now I only addressed Anakin which is the main problem but there are plenty of flaws without him.

Episodes 2 and 3 are the two bad ones but 2 is worse my list goes: 1,4,6,5,3,2.
That's chronologically not the order they were made.
