Oh also, Left 4 Dead. It was fun a day or so, but then I didn't like it and sold it back. I bought it new for 60 bucks and got 25 back I think.

It is a good game, just not for me.

COD MW 2, twice, bought it for the Xbox traded it in for the computer version to play with some friends. Then I got the BFBC2 demo and have not touched MW 2 since then. That was a huge mistake on my part.

Heh... i got quite a few.
Gangland for pc - found this one in a sales bin. Unpacked it, tossed the box and never even installed the game.

Dragonball Z Budokai for x360 - bought it used. The first two hours i played it it was brilliant fun but after that i havent played it (5 months ago...)

Spore - urgh... i can't even begin to say how much of a waste this was... played it untill i reached the final stage and got fed up with the game at that point.

COD : MW2 - i refused to buy this game for so long until a friend of mine finaly made me buy it. I never ever play it unless we play some coop missions together (happens once every month)

Halo 2 and 3 rank right up there with Spore on my list of waste of money games. But the winner, by far, is FF-X2. I can't decide what I hated more, the fact that I bought it at all or the fact that I beat it twice before I took it to gamestop.
WHAT?! Common, seriously, Halo 2 was an amazing game! Halo 3's campaign wasn't as good but the multiplayer was VERY good.

Even Yatzee said halo 3 wasn't bad!

Ive heard crazy things but your post blew my mind. I hope your only kidding.

EDIT: I never bought a game that i thought was bad. I'm not kidding.
Just because Yatzee said it was good doesn't mean I do. A game, to me, needs more than a graphics update and the ability to dual-wield to be good. But that's just what I think...maybe I am crazy! O_O!!

Portal: Still Alive. Now before you ready the Flamethrowers and Flare Guns, I have a good reason. I had downloaded it just weeks before my birthday, which was when I got the Orange Box. I wasted 10 dollars on a game my mom technically spent 4 dollars on...that and it is very overrated. Still looking forward to Portal 2, though. Might actually be worthy of all the inevitable praise it'll get.

I would say ODST, but I had the foresight not to jump at the chance to buy it. I knew it would be an overpriced expansion pack ever since I read that Bungie would be heckling it for $60 when it started out as a $20-$30 expansion.

I borrowed it three times: Once to play the campaign, once to beat the campaign Solo Legendary and do the Vidmasters, and once currently to play Reach.

I'll say Fable II, no just because I bought it, but I convinced three friends to buy it, so that's a net loss of $240 that I blame myself for.

Halo 1 + 2 + Maps bumper pack.

Played both of them for a little while in the same day. Never touched them again.

Aliens vs Predator for the 360.

Jesus H Christ was this game utterly broken. Rebellion are contenders for the worst human beings imaginable.

I got that when it first came out for 80 goddamn dollars and I despised it.

It was also my first PS2 game I bought.

"Mount armor" in the Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. Completely cosmetic, does nothing to gameplay, costs more than $5. Worthless.

Hmm where to start:

-Shadow the Hedgehog
-Donkey Konga
-Viewtiful Joe
-Any Mario Party Game
-Jackie Chan Adventures

All of them were purchased between the ages of 5 and 9. I was young and dumb >_>
viewtiful joe was a great game, and mario party 6 was awesome

but if you haven't i would recommend trying viewtiful Joe again
I should have elaborated, it was the DS version. I was not a fan. The original was fun.

As for Mario Party it was 4, and If Mario Party is too board gamy for me.

59 Euro for Command & Conquer 4.

If I had a friend on multiplayer I would have breezed through that game in literally less than 6 hours. Short as hell, clumsy as hell and just utterly putrid in singleplayer. Its only purpose is multiplayer e-peen growing.
Wow, that's expensive too. I think for me the worst purchase was Legendary on PS3. It seemed like a cool game at some points but at others it didn't have that nice fit and finish feel to it.

I thought it was 2 bucks? 160 microsoft points or something?

I got it with the Knights of the Nine retail pack, so I'm unsure.

Conflict: Denied Ops. Loved the other Conflict games, but Denied Ops ruined everything that was good about the game and added a sh** ton of horrible mechanics. Epic, epic fail.

This one game AVGN did just a few days ago. The game costs 200 dollars with 52 games, most of them are space shooters and none of them are good. Some of them CRASH the game.
