There was a guy who came into my liquor store who wanted something mean so he could break up with his girlfriend on Valentine's Day. Being a man about my money, I suggested this:

Friend of mine had a text message from his ex. One problem though. He forgot his cellphone at home.
Can you imagine when he arrived at her house with a bouquet of her favourite flowers and a plan to go out at her favourite restaurant? I wasn't there, but I had to buy three pints of beer that night.

Over the internet, publicly, by phone, on a day signifigant to them... You know, the kind of ways only douchebags would choose to break it off.
Well one day, I really liked a girl. She really liked me too. Everything went swimmingly for a day, and then I get home and I check my texts on my phone.. "I'm breaking up with you."
Turns out it was because her best friend liked me and that the girl that I liked still liked me when she broke up with me. Ow.

I once left someone after a discussion about how I felt uncomfortable dating her by saying something along the lines of "but yeah.. let's see how this goes" and of course I never saw her again. What are you talking about? That's the kindest way to break up with someone. The worst way to break up with someone is to leave them alive while you go on happily with your life, as if three years meant nothing to you.jebbo said:

dumped a girlfriend over the phone as it was a long distance one just before valentines day, but after I had already put her valentine present in the mail. Yeah I'm a real romantic....

She said we might be able to get bax together in the future, and tells me that she doesn't want me to leave her. this creates a conundrum wherein i cannot move on without closure.
she also gets a new boyfriend ("i didn't dump you for him") and he's a dick.

I used to be involved in a few poly relationships with some girls, a few years back. For those of you that don't know, that means, basically, open relationships with multiple people. The girl I'm talking about and I were a part of a tiny poly deal (one other people).
That was my last poly relationship. I was getting tired of sharing. In this case, I'd go a week for a chance to see her, sometimes more. I felt like she wasn't even making an effort to see me like I her. So after a while, I just stopped trying. About a month later I got an E-mail that said, "I think we should break up (short version)?" To which I replied, "Kay." And that was that.
The sex wasn't even worth the effort.

to come home and find that she has taken eveything but ur tooth brush and left u a note saying "im sorry but im leaving" and the only thing that goes thu ur mind is "ur leaving, i think u fuckin left!"
