Hell no. I don't know the other person, thus I have zero emotional attachment to them, and who's to say they won't die anyway somehow? There's no point me cutting my arm off to save someone from a bullet to the head, if he's going to die of AIDS or a heart attack tomorrow morning instead.
To be honest, I probably wouldn't even cut off a limb to save someone I knew. I'd only do it if my own life was in danger, and there would have to be absolutely zero chance of me escaping death without cutting off a limb before I even considered that. Call me selfish if you want, but I've always believed in looking out for number one. It's a selfish world. Deal with it.
