I actually had reservations against playing against the Americans in Rise of Nations, but I would probably get over it the game would have to involve some corrupted president who goes mad with power or something.

The problem with Canada is there would be no war, in fact the entire war would come down to a single question.

"Hey, whats with the get up, your going to shoot us? oh, what if we get high instead? here's a twenty, go grab some muchies while I roll."

I have a hard time imagining a game where Swedes are the antagonists, but no, I would not have a problem shooting Swedish soldiers instead of swarthy ones.

Come to think of it, a game about a fictional Swedish invasion of a baltic country where you play as a noble resistance fighter would be pretty fun.

I don't think you'd find many games portraying a fictitious war where an entire country is shown as being evil-usually it would just be one faction.
Uh, Civilization, Colonization? Where you have to fight off the Evil Redcoats...

Any WW2 Shooter. (From either side)

Red Alert, X-Com...

i'd love to, it would be like every Hollywood movie. in that place if you have a British accent you are either a snob or a bad guy.

I'm not sure how you can portray the British as villains in any war.
Only in every film ever will the villain(s) be british

And I have no objection whatsoever, as long as the game's good.

I like viewing the game from interesting perspectives anyway.

Easily, I know the British were a tenatious yet arrogant bunch quite frequently in history. I really don't have any problems with my country being depicted in a negative light, as with anything you have to take it with a grain of salt and remember that there are always two stories. You're just reading/playing/watching one of them.

Well modern shooters nowadays seem to have plot twists resulting in you killing your own countrymen so.. (MW2,Conviction, uh... any others)? Any game involving 1800s frontiersmen would portray the americans as rather dickish, too, considering how both public and private american forces displaced the natives.

Brits were pretty "evil" throughout the imperial ages or whatever you wish to call them. There's a reason Gandhi did what he did, for example. They'd be rather easy to portray as evil so long as you don't mind a little archaic gunplay.

Well I live in Denmark so... *burst into laughter*

5 minutes later: *dies of laughter*

Seriously, if there was a game with Denmark as the bad guys... *burst into laughter... again*. Sorry but we gotta be realistic around here.

I see no reason not to. Us Americans are from being good guys. We're not bad guys either, but for once, I'd like to play as someone else.
