It's an advert, seriously. If it was just 30 seconds of a bloke giving his girlfriend a copy of WOW and her going, "cheers, this is quality" it'd be one fucking boring advert.

Thats not the point here, the point is that they are blatantly saying "Don't get your girlfriends interested in WoW, they'll dump you!"

No. The point is that you are taking something that isn't supposed to be taken serious, serious.

Do you take everything Yahtzee says serious as well when watching Zero Punctuation? If so, why don't you go critisize him as well?

It's like listening to those female hippies who complain that advertisement that includes any indication of "sex" and "women" are commoditizing the female body and are misogynistic. Short answer: No, sex just sells, so companies use it. That's it.

It's not exactly one of the better gems for a WoW commercial.
