I laugh in the face and drop ice cubes down the vests of those who say PC gaming is dieing.

Yes, I play some single player FPS games on console, but only because my TV is bigger than my monitor. When it comes to multiplayer games however, it's PC all the way.

Oh, and RPG's.

I'm looking forward to Civ V, Football Manager 2011 and Dragon Age 2.

I should really start playing Mass Effect before getting those...

I'm really looking forward to Shogun II: Total War. I have enjoyed every total war game so far and Shogun II seems to be on the right track. I have already got a new computer just so I can run it.

Pfft, you can't just drop a bombshell like that, not back it up and then expect people to ignore it. So here I go... OMGWTF<3VALEV4EVA. Seriously though I love steam, it's the only way I actually buy games anymore. (Since I don't get much for my poor neglected Wii) Surely steam is fueling the evolution of smaller indie games AND streamlining the distribution of larger AAA titles.

alas, the format that had tasted freedom is now becoming dominated by a scaremongering, money grabbing Publisher(distributor and DRM). The PC format is now becoming no better than the consoles where there will be only one voice deciding on who gets what.

If any company like Steam gets the overall dominance, it may back lash for the consumers and in fact it's quite clear that Steam has little care for the consumers at the moment.

regardless,when an account gets block/suspended there is no way of getting back those games. Anybody with a logical mind should label Steam as "when necessary".

Erm, a lot of the games that I'll be getting for PC, I could also get on the PS3. But at the moment I only use my PS3 to watch Blue-ray and DVD in bed.
It depends how much disposable income I have, cos gaming on the PC is far cheaper than on the PS3.

You and me both. GW2 is pretty much my most anticipated game at this moment, and I wasn't head over heels for GW1, or any MMO in particular.

I'm just afraid NCSoft is pulling a fast one on us. I don't trust them after *gack* Aion.

Well NCSoft only produced GW2 they have no control or much say in development. That is all ArenaNet.

The thing I love ever so much about pc games, most of the time they don't feel like they were spit out of a machine in less than a year as an excuse to make money as is with a lot of console games.

This is why I am totally convinced that Call of Duty Black ops will be crap and why Old Republic will be great. Seriously, who doesn't like Star Wars?

I bet Black Ops will be fun, but Old Republic? The game looks like shit, star wars isn't that interesting, and it's a MMORPG! It's going to have the same flaws as wow, which has about 10 years of developement behind it.
