Well, you're surrounded, so my first response of 'a mortar and some distance' isn't really applicable.

I'd go with a gunblade revolver (someone supposedly has made a working one, IIRC) and some titanium ring chain mail. (Some modern chain mails being superior to period pieces as far as armor goes.)

When you say surrounded, I'm imagining them all like within a few metres, and no weapon could save me from an army that close. However, if they are say 60 feet away then a minigun so that I could shoot many down and the others would be too scared of my advanced weaponry and run away. I don't know what else I'd need, maybe a flame weapon which is also add fear.
