As for me, I would go back in time to the moment when Adam Smith, the father of modern economics, has scribbled out his vision of "Individual competition can only bolster the standards of the community, so every man for himself gentlemen for it can do us no harm!" completely ignoring how it would breed feelings of elitism, self-entitlement and fuel the lust for power to newer heights that are still felt today around the globe.
